DUCKBUTTER Duck Butter Beard Oil Beardsman Pack - 4 Scents with Brush & Comb Gift Set

I am extremely satisfied with this product. I ordered after noticing that my beard was dry and had begun breaking in a comb. I used several drops of the oil twice a day for the first two days, and have used it once a day since then, unless I notice dryness. It has worked wonders. My beard is no longer breaking at the ends and it feels much softer to the touch. I attribute this to the nice comb as well as to the oil.Now for a few specifics:1. Scents: Forest Ranger (kind of pine or balsam or something) is my favorite, followed by Beard Commander (the most subtle, probably the original recipe) then by Mint. I don't care for the Metro Spice personally. It's too overwhelming for my taste. That being said, the Metro Spice is my brother's favorite. He also bought a set, so I see a trade in our future.2. Packaging: Very Awesome. Everything was set down into foam, so I don't see any way that they could break. My brother ordered his set 4 months ago and his was not padded as well, so I suspect they have improved in this area in response to the feedback they received around bottle breakage.3. Comb: Simple. Effective. Better than the 5 cent plastic comb I was using before.4. Brush: I have never used a boar's hair brush before, so I have no basis for comparison. That being said, the bristles on this are firmer than I expected. I don't know if that is good or bad. I have been using it primarily on the sideburns, to tame them, and around the sides of my mouth to keep the mustache growing away instead of curling into my mouth. It has been effective for both purposes.5. Price: Are you kidding me. This is an absolute bargain.

I’m new to this whole beard thing (2 months now) but I have already found out that the right support products are important, one of which being a good beard oil. I bought this set and another brand of oil as well at the same time. My favorite thing of this set is the boar brush. It works fantastic. I have not found much use for the comb, but I’m not going for a long beard either. As far as the oils, they are nice and work well. I ordered these so I could have different scents to choose from. What I have found out personally is that while having a choice of scents to choose from, I tend to use the other brand of oil, that is non-scented as my preferred oil. If you are looking for scented oils using essential oils...this set is worth the money.

I was asked by the seller for a review, I am biased for this type of review due to lack of knowledge of beard oil.. what I can say is that this oil is TOP NOTCH!! It works great, my beard is fuller now. I have used only one other brand. GBS. This works better for fullness so far. I’ve only been using this product for about 2 weeks though... that price is good for the kit I ordered, the shipping was great. In time and packaged well. And I got a beard comb, and brush. I would recommend this kit if you have a beard, but if you have issues with growing facial hair, it probably won’t make you grow hair.. that is in your genes.. or it might, dunno. I grow all the time, so I am happy to say. This stuff is kinda awesome! I ride a motorcycle to work, as much as possible here in the NE, and I have to install hair ties to keep the beard out of my eyes. When I remove them and run the comb through my beard, it is just like I styled it before I left my house.So 5 Stars for my review... only complaint and this is something I don’t really care about, I got 4 different oils and 3 smell the same. Again not complaining, because the mint one is outstanding

I really like that the duckbutter beard oils are subtle scents, not super overpowering. Very important for those of us with coworkers who have to tolerate our beard oil misadventures.Also, noticeably easier to wash duckbutter oils out of my beard. This has not been my experience with some other brands. Nothing worse than not falling in love with your beard's new scent and then not being able to remove it with all the shampoo in the world.The price is also surprisingly affordable which is great for those of us that don't wear the face rug year round and don't want to be as invested in it's maintenance as we are our say our vehicle's.The beard comb is probably very helpful to folks with thicker less poser beards than mine but the beard brush is perfect. Small enough to fit in my dopp kit without sacrificing other important hygiene gear and just aggressive enough to get the beard in line without irritating the skin underneath. Solid product. Just can't go wrong here

Purchased this for my son as a Christmas gift. Noticed a difference IMMEDIATELY. Getting the brush and comb was an added bonus. When he came over this morning I couldn't help but notice how nice the fragrance he used was. I purchased this set mostly because of all the 5 star reviews but also because of the listed ingredients and the care taken in making the products. I also purchased a set for my other son and he commented on how much better the wooden combs are and he was impressed with quality of product as well. Now I am seriously thinking of asking my hubby to grow a beard as well...love a well groomed beard :) Will definitely recommend to friends.

Initially the package came with a broken glass bottle and beard oil EVERYWHERE.All 3 however were still intact so we kept it and put in place a return.DuckButter sent a replacement kit ASAP and an additional beard comb not available for sale yet. The oils are not goopy and chunky they are sleek slick and smell fabulous. Its also a really good variety of different scents for your man to choose from. The additional combs/brushes that come with it have proved to be quite helpful taming the Viking Beard.Good bang for your buck and really good quality!

This box is my introduction to beard oils and beard care. Prior to this, I was using a regular black comb and no oils. When I decided to purchase this, however, I set my expectations pretty high. at the top of my list, I wanted to reduce the itchiness my beard was causing. That itchiness was a daily incentive to shave my beard away. I'm glad I gave the beard oils a try.My box came with 4 scents. Although initially, I only liked 3 of the 4 scents, the 4th one has since grown on me. At first, I used the comb more, but as my beard is growing, I find I get a better look from the brush. The comb is however MUCH better than the regular black combs. My regular black come kept pulling my hairs out. I was convinced I had knots in my beard. When I started using the new wood comb, there were zero knots, as if I never had any. So I'm convinced it was my comb.As for the oils, I think I might use too much. I use about 6 drops per use, once a day, in the morning. But it feels fantastic. Within 2 days, while making sure to reach my skin at the root of my beard, all itchiness is gone. The smells are just a bonus.Finally, the wife approves, so you get my thumbs up.I give this 4 out of 5 stars because I can't give you 5 stars because I've never experienced any other beard oils to compare this with, so to give a perfect rating feels a little dishonest.All in all, for the price, this is a must-have for anyone taking their first steps in oils.

Delivered with open, leaky bottle. The box wasn't damaged and it was shrink wrapped, so somewhere before it was shipped on of the bottles was opened. Also the open bottle had a bunch of crud floating in the oil. The other 3 bottles we're fine, but I won't be ordering Duck Butter anymore.

I got 2 sets, one for me and one as a gift for my dad, but even for a 60+ year-old man, the smell of these oils was a little... "old?" All four bottles smelled similar to us. The smell was more of a minty/herbal smell and not something I'd smell on someone and go: "Damn man, you smell good, what's that?" Which is what I am looking in my beard oil/balm.The box has a comb and a small brush. They both work well. The brush, while works, is a bit too small to hold on to for a good and thorough brushing.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a fresh smelling beard.

Be careful after opening the bottles of beard oil that they always remain vertical. I placed a couple in my travel bag and with the lid secured tightly they both leaked out everywhere. I have never had that issue with any other brand. I have gone through a lot beer oils and unfortunately this is my lowest ranked oil... and not just one specific one but 75% of what came in the box. Beard Commander, Forrest Ranger and Metro Spice might as well as share the same label. They smell slightly different when you smell the bottle, but as soon as you wear them their fragrance wears off and all you are left with it clove. Clove. Clove. Clove. All three of them use clove, its all you can smell. It overpowers everything else. Smells like Christmas 365 days. Would not recommend if you beard uses a lot of oil. The cool mint is mediocre at best, and does not contain clove. As a health supplement to my beard I would not say the oils used made for a healthier or softer beard. I suggest looking elsewhere as there are hundreds of beard oils to choose from.

First beard oil and brush purchase so not a connoisseur but the quality seems to be good. Definitely notice a difference between the days my partner uses the beard brush or not. But the package was unfortunately delivered with the 'cool mint' oil missing which was the one I was most looking forward to. Little disappointing when he opened it as a Valentines Day gift and not worth the hassle of returning to get the additional oil. Otherwise good value for price as a starter kit
