I am so grateful for this product. The option to replace my LG dishwasher rack was expensive so to prevent rust I found this product which has just the right sized caps to protect my dishwasher prongs. The goop also works great to fix any rusty parts. Great product!

This goop works well, but they aren't kidding when they talk about how quickly it dries. The instructions tell you to do things like keep your thumb on the bottle top while you apply, so it doesn't dry out the contents. I did the best I could but it still tends to dry out. I've used around 2/3 of the bottle and what's left is now stringy and not very usable. If you think you're going to need a lot of this stuff, I'd skip the big bottle and get two small ones instead.

Great product and easy to use; but note that it does dry very fast and can stain unprotected counter tops. Completely this repair one month ago and still looks good so am hopeful about its durability.

After purchasing a Whirlpool dishwasher 2.5 years ago. I noticed Just the lower rack was starting to rust. Whirlpool wanted $514.00 (I paid under $400.00 for the complete machine) for the rack replacement, some other sites offered as low as $149.00. Ordered this repair kit for $20.00 and it seems to do well. One suggestion, clean off any rust (file or sand paper) before using, it will help the paint adhere better.Shame on you Whirlpool, racks rusting after 2.5 years of light use and selling service/replacements parts for more than the cost of the complete product.

emailed company to ask about colors. they were very helpful. product is good looking and easy to use. much better than purchasing new dishwasher racks for Viking at $400 each!
