70727 Small Domed Propagator, 8.5" x 7" x 5", Black/Dark Green

For the price, the plastic material of the bottom tray was thinner than expected. The bottom would not sit flat because the bottom was slightly warped, so some cups inside would topple over with a slight tip. The height is also too short. Small to medium size cuttings barely fit, and seedlings won't fit inside long after sprouting. Lastly, the air vent blocks light from reaching some seedlings in the box because the height is so low and opaque. Overall, this still works as a propagation station but does not match quality expectations given the really high price. I was hoping to use this as a permanent humidity station for seedlings and small cuttings, but I'll likely switch to the cheaper 'disposable' trays. Otherwise, I really liked the small surface area this occupies and the thickness of the upper lid.

I used this to germinate seedlings and loved it. It's definitely a keeper. I set it on top of a heating to keep my seedlings nice and toasty and it worked very well. The plastic is thick and sturdy and the whole thing is well made. I really loved the vent on the top to control the humidity inside and get a little fresh air in there. The top fits very well onto the bottom and the vent slides easily. I'll be using this for my seedlings from now on and would definitely buy this again.

Im very impressed w this little dome. Its a much nicer, thicker plastic than im used to with clone domes. Itll fit trays for about 12 clones/seedlings at a time. Perfect for when you dont take 50 cuttings at a time to fill a full sized dome.Edit: Ive used this tray for several cloning sessions. I do still stand by the construction of the item. I wont change my rating because the item is true to the description, but ive found the dome to be just a little too short. Ive built it up with cardboard and foil to make it taller. So if youre using it for seedlings and small clones its great. For taller clones, not so great.

This has to be the best, most well made propagator I've used. Bought many on Amazon. The plastic is sturdy, it survived the top rack of the dishwasher and it's just not flimsy. It was so good that I bought their larger size one with a higher dome. I would say that this would be perfect for sprouting seeds, but not so much for cloning. Use their bigger higher domed one for cloning.Coupled with a heat mat and a controller, I got 100% germination rates, which in the past, I cannot germinate anything. I believe this helped a lot.

This is a fantastic little propagator. It's heavyweight plastic - not a heavy flexible plastic, but a rigid plastic that is quite durable. I've been using this to root cuttings from hot peppers which is a notoriously slow process. After 6 months of near 24/ light the plastic hasn't yellowed or cracked. I ordered a few different brands and this model is my favorite. Holds 6 to 8 cuttings easily.

It's a little smaller than i thought it would be, but its still perfect! I'm a newbie so I'm not sprouting a lot at a time so the size is exactly what i needed. It didn't come damaged like some of the other customers who've reviewed, so I'm happy.

Bought this on to give seedlings a little more room.. turns out to be the same height as basically all the others. It's 4.5" tall not 7" as listed. No real issues... has vent, recess space on bottom to catch water, etc.

The product was great until I had noticed that the most important aspect of the item was not functional. The dial to change the humidity doesn't even cover the holes. It is crooked and won't stay down. I can clearly see the holes in the dome lid and nothing is there to cover them or keep humidity in. I feel like this was a complete waste of money. I can make a container with holes in it easy. The mechanism to regulate the moisture not so much. I am very disappointed with this product and its quality.

The price is ridiculously high for somthing so small doesnt fit clones or seedlings it is thick I'll give it that but only good.to grow grass maybe I returned it and got one at my grow store 8x bigger and literally half the cost

I like these trays pretty much. You can propagate atleast one dozen of seeds and have enough space between them to easily repot the plants when time comes. You don't need as much soil as you would need if individual pots were used. Also, you can easily control the humidity to your needs by turning the knob on top of the tray. I highly recommend these.

I use it with peat pellets to start seedings. I've started two rounds of poppy seeding. The results are excellent so far. By the way, I also use a grow light with poppy seedlings that are problematic in a greenhouse environment.

For the size and price point this is very overpriced.
