45W 19.5V AC Power Adapter Charger for DELL Inspiron 5455 5558 5559 Series new genuine

Needed an adapter for a Dell Inspiron 5558 laptop, always weary of knockoff adapters, was so glad to find this, it is a genuine Dell adapter, no issues at all when using with the laptop.It shipped quickly, well packaged and one thing that really impressed me, the power cord to the adapter is very flexible, not stiff like so many other power adapters I have. It is flexible like the power cord on most Apple adapters.And, I bought it for what I felt was a very good price, much, much less than retail price from Dell.If this adapter is compatible with your device, I highly recommend it.

the box part of the adapter 'looks' like my original dell charger but I can tell the 3 prong cord is genericBUT it still is working great so far. I have a Dell 5559 and for some reason suddenly my computer stoppedrecognizing the cable- so it wouldnt charge- this new adapter charger brought it back 100%- so happyabout that.

This charger helped me to solve my problem. If anyone has problem with slowing down their Dell's laptops, changing charger might help to fix it. I had to wait 20 to 30 seconds until any program reacted to my actions. I took many different steps to fix this problem, such as reinstalling the system, changing hard drive, updating and reinstalling the drivers, however, only replacing the charger helped to resolve this issue. Now, laptop is working well.

Was hesitant to order this, because the product picture did not match and it took me a while to sort through product specs, but it came as promised and works well. My dog chewed up the original charger only about 2 months after I bought the laptop, so I was really sad, but really glad that the dog wasn't hurt by his own instinct to chew the covering on the wires.

Dell is notorious for poorly designed receptacles for plugging the power cord into the back or side of their laptops. Over the years I have had them fail on three DIFFERENT Dell laptops and I am not an abusive user! This one was for my wife's laptop and she is just an occasional user. This inexpensive replacement saves me a small fortune and it works fine!

Worked great until it broke 3 months after purchase. I can't return or exchange. Hate that. Anything that doesn't last at 6 Mos to a year on amazon should be able to be returned or exchanged.

like OEM, I bought an aftermarket one that had a longer cord after my original one broke. Some times my laptop wouldn't recognize it and not charge. Finally it got to where it wouldn't charge at all so I bought this - and works like a charm

Junk! Purchased in June 2017. Both the adapter and plug have defects by November 2017 and not charging the computer properly. So it lasted 5 months. And no warranty. Not sure if this is even a genuine Dell product. Avoid!
