Good product would buy again

Unfortunately, these didn't work for me. I have a very sensitive GI system so these made me feel sick, regardless of taking them as directed.

The strains they use are some of the few truly proven strains of probiotics, and the company seems to be highly reputable. It doesn't need to be refrigerated, but the box recommends it. Easy to swallow and pretty much tasteless. I dealt with digestive and intimate issues during my first pregnancy, but with the use of this, it hasn't been an issue. Pricewise, it's a decent value. Probiotics are never truly cheap and can often be a get what you pay for kind of deal, so I'm pleased with this especially given it's free of common "undesirables" (GMO, artificial colors, animal byproducts, etc.). My box came in a little beaten up, but the container itself was intact.

I'm someone who does extensive research before putting things in my body, as all people should. And as I am pregnant, I want to be especially careful due to there being an extra being to take care of. When I first came across this product, I was curious because it was specifically tailored toward pregnant women, and up until this point in my third trimester I had only been taking prenatal vitamins. I did some research on the company and saw that it was a reputable company from the UK, which helped reassure me about this product. I also wanted to test out the product for a period of time before leaving a review just to make sure that it was working the way it was intended. After taking it for a few weeks now, I would say that the differences are subtle yet substantial enough for me to feel like no expecting mother should go without a product like this. It's definitely helped with my bloating and the overall feeling in my stomach which has been a huge lifesaver personally. They came in a nice glass bottle that is to be refrigerated and they are easy to take in the mornings with a meal. I think that I will likely continue to take this product until after I give birth, or perhaps until after I'm done breastfeeding. Would definitely recommend it!

The pills are inside a brown glass jar with a metal (aluminum?) lid. There was a tamper-resistant layer under the jar lid. The instructions recommend storing the opened pills in the refrigerator and to keep the included desiccant packet in the jar as well.I ordered these probiotics as the packaging and description state they are suitable for use during breastfeeding. I forgot to mention them to DH so he was a bit shocked to see pills labeled for “pregnancy” in the refrigerator.I’ve always found it to be a bit hard to evaluate supplements for the purpose of a review, and as a result, mostly note any unpleasant tastes or side effects. These probiotic pills are a reasonable size, have no unpleasant taste or aftertaste (I swallow them with liquid or weak coffee), and no unpleasant after-effects.5 stars

I like that Optibac Probiotics Pregnancy is a vegan probiotic supplement that is specially formulated for pregnant and breastfeeding women, which I need. The supplement contains strains of live bacteria that help support my digestive and immune health because of my age I need this to have a healthy baby. From my understanding, this probiotic helps to maintain a healthy balance of gut bacteria, which can have a positive impact on both maternal and fetal health. It contains strains of bacteria that are commonly found in the human gut and are safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

I love that these come in a glass jar with a metal lid. They are from the UK and I find their vitamins tend to be a higher quality. I enjoy being able to take this once a day. It is recommended though not mandatory to refrigerate them. I also like that it doesn't have a gelatin capsule. Overall I am very satisfied. I am TTC and probiotics are recommended to optimize fertility. Fingers crossed!

To be blunt, I like taking probiotics during pregnancy to help ward off yeast infections. I prefer taking a different brand every time I finish a bottle because I read once that the body can get used to different strains of bacteria and they could be less effective. So I’m always looking for another brand to add to my rotation. This one is great! It has no plastic, recyclable packaging; it’s fresh and has far out expiration dates; and it’s easy to take and no bad tastes. Highly recommend this brand if you’re looking for a probiotic.
