Minka Aire F624-ABD Roto XL, 62" 3-Blades Ceiling Fan in Brushed Aluminum Finish with Silver Blades

I'm very happy with this fan. It pushes a lot of air in my 30x30 garage, certainly more than I expected. I'm very happy with the looks of it as well. There is no noise almost at all (full speed is very quiet).I'm using a remote relay for on/off and not using the included fan speed controller. Didn't have that high of hopes for this as we had gone through a couple fan options before getting here. This fan is QUIET, SLEEK, and EASY TO INSTALL. We were worried about the blades "drooping" from what we could see in the photo, but are pleasantly surprised that they are stiff and level with the rotor unit. We loved that this is a very SIMPLE controlled unit- no BS RF receiver you have to hide in the ceiling, no connecting 8-12 wires, just two connections at the ceiling and 2 at the wall. Minus one star ONLY for the ugly and very cheap wall controller. No need for "minkaAire" branding on it... I believe other simple wall controllers will work with this fan, and we'll be replacing the factory provided wall controller. Fan itself is a 5+/5!!!

this fan moves a lot of air without all the frills - its just a clean looking well designed fan and very easy to install.

This is a modern fan that really looks expensive. It pushes a lot of air as well. It's a nice size (doens't look small at all) and really add to the room. I wouldn't hesitate to order for the price.

Do not buy this fan. I installed it in my front porch andIt throws no air. Horrible purchase i am trying toReturn it but "my return window" closed.

Love it! It’s so big that it moves a ton of air but sooo quietly. The only issue is that it used to tick/clang. The issue is that the cotter pin rattles around, I just put a dab of super glue on it and it’s whisper quiet

I bought two of these 2 years ago. slowly the high speed setting on one got worse to the point where it ran only on low speed. I contacted Mika. They are very interesting. One one fan that came damaged they replaced the motor. On the one with the slow speed they told me it needed a new capacitor and I had to order one from one of their vendors. The part was only 8 dollars but then 25 dollars shipping. It took over two months to get the part shipped to the vendor then to me from the vendor.I ended up having to go through banks, dispute processes and new fans to get a working fan.Pros:Beautiful and modern looking without ornate touches and annoying built in lights.Silent and PowerfulWorks great with smart fan switches like Lutron systems and Google HomeSuper Easy to Install ( I am very handy)Cons:When they fail it is impossible to get quick replacement partsNo wireless remote (but I 'm not a fan of these anyway)Very difficult to change fan speed direction.

We chose the aluminum color fan. Website says material is metal. Wording also used says brush nickel. Color or unit and blades are very nice, however, the blades appear to be plastic. The only 'metal' appears to be the motor/center part of the unit. Would like the manufacturer to confirm. Also, in the description says it's rated for indoor and outdoor use, however, in the Q&A attached to this item, someone wrote that it's an indoor only fan. Would love to know the real details as we would not have purchased if blades were listed as plastic and if only for indoor use.
