Gelid Solutions GP-Ultimate 15W- Thermal Pad 90x50x3.0mm. Excellent Heat Conduction, Ideal Gap Filler. Easy Installation.

My GIGABYTE GTX 1080 WindForce 3X OC (GV-N1080WF3OC-8GD) is almost 6 years old at this point, and even though my GPU core temps never rose above 73c I was getting full system reboots after some time. I ended up repasting the card with Gelid GC-Extreme thermal paste on the core, but this didn't completely fix the issue and didn't drop by temps from a whole lot of Corsair TM50 Paste from around two years ago. A quick investigation of the card while playing God Of War revealed that my VRMs on the GPU were getting VERY hot. I ended up taking the card apart, and found out that my GPU has 4 different thicknesses of pads, 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, and 3.0mm. I ended up getting a pack of each, and replaced all pads across the die side and backplate. Only difference from before and after besides the pads and paste was that I covered individual memory chips rather than a strip of three or two to save the material as these pads are a bit expensive.These absolutely made a night and day difference. My Idle temps dropped from 50c to 31c on the GPU core, and fully loaded it's hitting a max of 62c. My card isn't overclocked, by man.Pros:Idle temps dropped from 50c to 31c.Load temps dropped from 73c to 62c.If you use a sharp exacto-knife and a cutting board, the material, even in the 0.5mm size is easy to cut and handle as long as you are careful. The top layer of plastic may come off when cutting, but this didn't effect the thermal pad at all.Pros: The price. You pay a premium for these pads, especially if you need 4 packs like I did, but it was totally worth it. Especially since right now my 1080 is almost worth as much used as it was brand new thanks to current chip and GPU shortages. Because these have performed so well, I haven't deducted any stars because of the price.

This is not your regular impregnated foam. This stuff is heavy. You can also tell by the temperature in your hand that it's not your everyday thermal foam substrate. It has the highest thermalIt has the highest thermal transfer of of anything I can find at this writing. I have to admit one side of the peel off came loose when trying to cut the pieces but based on the diamond pattern I suppose this makes sense. It was easy to apply, easy to measure, and stays put even if you have to flip your surface over. Time will tell about heat transfer, and how long it will last. But it definitely does not feel like plastic. Impressive indeed. It took me three failed purchases to get here. I should have learned my lesson before. It's worth it.

I just got to say wow. this thermal pads are incredible . I was sitting around 80-85C. On my hotspot. On my rtx 3080 now it’s down to 70-73 very impressed with this thermal pads I highly recommend you give this product a try it might impress you just like it did me

Awesome authentic Gelid Solutions product exactly as advertised it passed the verification check on the Gelid Solutions website people like to fake this brand .It even arrived earlier than expected I will buy again from this seller in the future I'm extremely satisfied.

So far there is little difference between this thermal pad and the cheap ones. It is much more dense than some of the thermal pads out there. There is a 2 or 3-degree difference between the cheap thermal pads and this thermal pad. Idle temperatures on a WD Black 850X are 120 degrees F without a thermal pad and 117 degrees F with the thermal pad. I don't think that it is worth the premium price tag

Still going strong even with OC CPU and GPU!My laptop: MSI GF65 Thin 10 SER Intel core i7 CPU @ 2.5GHz, Win 11.Products used: Gelid 1.0mm & 1.5mm, Kyronaut extreme 2G.Thermal issues began throttling (slowing) the laptop. I previously had to use it on "Extreme" performance mode without overclocking, and Turbo boost cooler. I was still running at 95 degrees C. On "balanced" mode it would reach 95+ and throttle. Previously used an off-brand paste and had to replace it again but used Kyronaut Extreme, and thermal pads with the Gelid 1.0mm and 1.5mm and the problem was solved. I tried to overheat it overclocking on a game, several desktops and browsers open, and an additional monitor connected. Nothing. On Balanced mode, I reached 78 with everything open. Overclocking I reached 67. For work, I generally will have 2 additional displays with around 20-30 web tabs open on multiple virtual desktops and run a few different programs. If you're doing general maintenance or having overheating issues, rest assured these work.

Depuis 1 ans et plusieurs changements de pads, ma carte plantait a cause d'une surchauffe des VRM qui montaient au delà de 110°C si je ne downclock pas.Depuis que j'ai mis ces pads, la carte à perdu en moyenne 10 degrés en charge et la mémoire ne dépasse plus les 80°C sans que la ventilation ne soit au max, résultat : plus aucun plantage, plus besoin de brider la carte et je peux même me permettre de l'OC maintenant.C'est cher, la quantité du produit est franchement limite donc pour les cartes récentes il en faut plusieurs, mais pour les perfs rien à dire c'est très bon.
