Was checked by the Decathlon technician and was found to be defective. Didn't not expect this from a reputed seller. If 9 speed isn't compatible, the seller should mention this upfront.

I waited in great anticipation to get this tool so I could get in the job of shortening the length of chain. When I got it in hand it was disappointing. It came with one of the two plastic caps fixed on turning lever already fallen in the pouch. The needle that pushes out the pin in the chain link was slightly bent, so while pushing out the pin the outer part of the chain would get deformed making alignment to fix the next link impossible. I was forced to finish the job using the old method of hammer, a small nut and a nail! Because of the plastic cap on the lever coming off everytime you turn the lever it falls off. It's a nightmare to hold everything in place and locate the plastic cap re fix it and start turning again. The idea is great but the tool is unworthy. Not worth buying.

Applied Greeze and tightened chain little it broke need replacement

The media could not be loaded. Its a good splitter but not the best kind. It gets the job done. Quality is not that great and may wear out slowly after every use.Not sure whether it will rust or not but it does have stain marks here and there so..Overall it's a good splitter and serves its purposeSo I recommend it.

This tool is very useful & sturdy, but while using it, its easy & comfortable. I hope you find this review helpful to make your decision in buying this product.

Threading got stuck in first time use. Not a good quality.

Good in quality .. easy to use..... Everything god in this .. price is reasonable ...it is value for money
