Works as advertised
Installed in a Dell laptop 10+ years old, (M2800)had 7260 dual band card. *Important*.. Blk & white wires on 7260 card are marked opposite on this new card! I Installed the wires on the NEW card opposite of how they were on original based on google search. be careful removing and installing wires!! I didn't remove old card from device manager, I just installed new card. Started laptop and i got an endless spinning circle. It said NO Wifi adpter found. So i shut down THEN, "Turned OFF the WIFI SWITCH". That fixed it. Booted up, loaded drivers by itself. Wireless speeds now 600~800 but that's with a 1.2gb wireless plan and a TP LINK B10000 mesh system wireless backhaul. speeds before struggled around 200 at best. This was originally a Win7 Laptop updated to win10. It's OLD but wifi is fast now! Tried NEW Drivers but got better results with older drivers so i rolled them back. It did drop connection once so far.. but could be the TP Link Mesh causing that. I'll keep an eye on it.. for $25 bucks it's well worth it!! DO NOT BUY this card Version for wifi 6E or 7 Unless you have windows 11... it won't work. You Need win10 or more for this one. it is listed in device manager as wifi6 ax200 160mhz.NOTE: My Router let me combine the 5GHZ and wifi6 into ONE SSID and that's giving me the high speed, sometimes hitting 1gb on wireless.

It works. Easy to install.
Worked flawlessly on my 15 year old Asus G73. Installed it , booted up the computer, and the card started working. Didn’t even have to install any drivers.

Easy install works perfectly!
I decided to update my still good, 10 year old HP 15T-J100 laptop to take advantage of my new fiber network. After reading multiple reviews of different wifi cards, it seemed to be chancy as to whether any would work. It seems that some older HP laptops had whitelists in their bios that prevented many adapters from working. But some people were having success by updating their bios to ones that no longer have the whitelists. On the HP website they listed a newer bios dated to 2018. My laptop was from 2013, so I updated before attempting to install the new wifi adapter. after the successful bios update, I popped open the case and replaced the old adapter with this one. Since I dual boot Windows 10 and Linux Mint I expected to have to locate drivers for one or both operating systems. Lo and behold! on booting up each system recognized and loaded the drivers, both wifi and bluetooth, with no input on my part. And are working perfectly with greatly increased speed! The whole operation from opening the case, removing and replacing the adapter, and checking the operation could not have taken more than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this adapter.

Successfully Upgraded an Old HP I was Loosing Hope On
I had an HP ENVY Touchsmart 15t-j000 Quad Edition laptop from 2013 that was still getting used around the office for basic tasks. We had updated all of our networks over to WAP3 and this computer decided it could no longer see WAP3 networks with the Intel 7260HMW it had in it.I was hesitant at first to pick this card up because I remembered years ago (probably 2016) we tried putting a different wifi card in this laptop because the IT guy really wanted to try out a 3x3 MIMO card in it for some reason and it was not compatible. We assumed it was because of a Whitelist issue with the BIOS.This card on the other hand was recognized and started working immediately. This poor old laptop is now working once again on WPA3 network and even connects to the WIFI 6 APs using 802.11ax. Can it actually use the benefits of WiFi 6? Probably not. But at least it works again.I also want to make a note about the compatibility with the 15t-j000 Quad Edition BIOS. It is possible we installed a moded BIOS years ago to try and get around the HP Whitelist issue after the issue we had with the old 3x3 card upgrade attempt. I know someone was trying to look into it, but this was way back in 2015 and I honestly can not remember the outcome. All I know is it is currently working and that I am happy so far with the results. If I have issues with this card I will update this review. Otherwise, you can assume this card is still working great.
