Very nice but taking awhile to break them in.
The shoe is high quality. I am pleased. Comfort level is reduced a tiny bit by the length of time to wear them in so they aren't so stiff. Very good quality.

Shipping too high
Delivered on time. Product just as described. Only thing I don’t like is the price of shipping. $19 for shipping is really high. I wouldn’t have purchased if my daughter’s band director didn’t require we get this exact shoe. I couldn’t find it anywhere but online.

classic band shoe
These are what most college and high school bands require. They hold up well

Awesome
I've been marching for 9 years now and this is the ONLY brand of marching shoes I buy. They're comfortable, look professional, and last a while. The only downside is how hot your feet may get in the summer time, but that's not a huge deal since I wouldn't wear them all day anyway.

Holds up well
The shoes still look well after a season in marching band.

the tops look great she wore through the heel
They are Dinkles, you don't have much choice marching. However, a pair of shoes lasted almost 4 years, the tops look great she wore through the heel.

Too small and very stiff :’(
I have always used Drill Masters in my marching career and have never had any complaints, but as of late I needed black marching shoes for less serious events rather than the white ones I usually used in competition. I needed them pretty quickly, and figured the less expensive and (from what I heard) well received Dinkles would do just fine. Unfortunately for me, they are very stiff and smaller than the size I am/was recommended. I wear a m5/w7 and these are too tight!!! I would recommend going up at LEAST a half size, if not a full one. They are definitely made for narrow feet. As for the quality, they seem ok but I don’t think they hold up to my Drill Masters. Honestly, if you’re putting in money to buy marching shoes at all, get ones that you’re actually going to like because you wear these things for LONG periods of time.
