Creative Haven Still Life Color by Number Coloring Book (Creative Haven Coloring Books)

Let me start by saying I LOVE Creative Haven Color by Number books but I was very disappointed with this one. There aren't a variety of color in the pictures. TONS of reds, oranges & purples. If that's okay with you, I'm sure you'll love it but I returned it. With all the coloring options out there now, no way would I have chosen to color all these pictures with little variety. Look up some of their other Color by Number books though, love the Mandalas, Birds, & Butterflies.

I bought to use with my colored pencils just so i had a little bit more thick paper. I love it and recommend to anyone

Pictures are too big,same colors are used,not interesting pictures

Paper is high quality, the pictures are all too similar for my taste. It's mostly wine and grapes. The pictures vary from easy to detailed.

That was the best color by number coloring book I've ever done.

I like these coloring books, but had to slow down because of eye problems.

I really looked forward to receiving this book and was pleased when it arrived quickly. However when I came to use it I was disappointed to find that the numbers of each section are printed quite darkly. I prefer to use coloured pencil and unfortunately the numbers show through which considerably spoils the finished item. I put the book away and may try in the future with coloured pens to see if the effect is better. Common sense tells me that the 'artist' needs to see the numbers but perhaps they could be 'greyed out'. I am not complaining just stating my opinion, have others had a similar experience?
