 I received this for free in exchange for my review:This laptop cooler has worked very well for me. Normally my work laptop's fan will start to run very hard after opening just my email, a couple of word documents, and 4 or 5 chrome tabs. Once it overheats it starts to slow down. This cooler keeps my laptop to the point where it doesn't need to run the internal fan hard at all.Pros:- Automatically turns on when the exhaust temperature gets too high and shuts itself down when the exhaust temp goes back down.- Very interesting and cool styling- Strong build quality- Keeps my laptop coolCons:- It's not silent, but it is very quiet unless you put it on the highest RPM setting. Then it can get fairly loud.- Instructions are completely in Chinese. It's a pretty straightforward device but I contacted the seller and they provided me with an English translation. I had hoped it would be a reliable tool I could go to. It is very inexpensively made and the fan binds at high speed. The power cord I think is damaged just before the place where the plug goes into the machine. All the instructions are in a langue other then English. I have no hope that it will last hardly any time at all and less that I can make it work next time I use it. Its really not a good value at all. I'm sorry I bought it.

I love this! Cools fast!

My laptop runs hot since I got it. It is a great name brand but was kind of a lemon! So I was thrilled to try out this really neat, transformer looking fan.The is an extractor so instead of just blowing cold air on your computer it removes the heat from your computer.I have been using for almost two weeks and before I wrote this review I really wanted to use it! My laptop used to run hot and the fan would run long and loud constantly. It doesn't happen any more. With this device pressed against my computer I no longer hear my fan running.It has automatic and manual modes and comes with blue attachments to fit the "vacuum" to your device perfectly but none of that matters to me because all I know is that my computer is quiet and no longer spews hot air out.You can change the speed of the vacuum by turning the knob. I keep mine pretty high. I can hear the fan of the vacuum when it is high but it is not nearly as loud as my computer used to be.You can also change the color of the logo on the device. There are 7 colors or have no color at all. I love the colors.It doesn't take up very much space and is powered by USB. I have the cord under my laptop going to a USB port on the other side.Final Word:If you have a laptop that runs hot!
