Highly bright light. I bought two of these to light Old Glory in my front yard. I eventually took one of them out because the light kept me up at might. As a matter of fact, I woke up a couple nights ago and thought I had overslept. If you get the 30W, expect that it is going to be very, very bright. If they last a long time, this will be one of the best purchases I have ever made from Amazon. Highly recommend.One year update: Still going strong. As bright as day one.

Extremely bright light - all 3 wattages
50WI have the 10w, 30w and now the 50w in daylight white. As with all the others this is Bright! The dimensions of the light are about 9.75" w x 8.5" h. I attached this to a plug in cord to test and it lights up to at least 93'5" in a forward direction (could be more but there is a hedge that blocked the light from carrying further) and over 50' sideways (could be more but trees block the spread) from a height of about 14'. I could clearly see up to 93" away so if there were prowlers you would see them and if you need it for lighting you would be able to see where you are going.30WThis is a very bright light, the brightest 30w LED light I've ever seen. I have the 10W and it lights up a big area brightly (at least 50' deep by about 60') with the brightest area being in the first 30 or so feet but you can still see beyond this. The 30w (I haven't installed it yet) but it lights up well over 60' in a forward direction. I don't know what it is about these lights but they are significantly brighter than any of the other 10w or 30w LED floodlights that i have which are also in the 5000 and above range. If I were to compare the 10w in this to a 10w in another brand I would say the 10w is more like a 20w or higher, it's that bright, and it covers a wider area. I hope this brand light will be available on Amazon for some time it's really worth it. I've been using solar lights but we've been having rainy weather so the solar lights aren't getting enough sunlight to charge the batteries so I've had to use the outdoor LED lights and the 10w lights up most of the back yard. I would use the higher wattage to replace security lights which we only turn on when we suspect prowlers or have guests who park on the front lawn.I've also bought the 50w and can't wait to see how bright that is!

Ansun Review. The name seems to imply A Sun. Well at least that is what you will think once you power this baby up. Dang it is bright. I chose to install a plug on it , since it comes with bare ended wires. I guess most people install the light somewhere, but I want to be able to use it anywhere. I can now plug it into a 100 foot extension cord and use it anywhere out side. To be perfectly Honest, It is so bright that you may have to find a place further away from you to be able to use it, than most other portable lights. It is made of metal , has vanes on the back to dissipate heat, and has a very strong glass protector over the LED. It doesn't build up any heat in the short time I have used it. It is truly the brightest light I have ever used on a small scale just around the yard. It really is like day light. I highly recommend this light. Hope this helps in making a decision about whether to get one or not. Thanks

Just as bright for 1/10 the energy.
Love this light! Like others here, I'm going LED a little at a time, so when I rebuilt the 2nd story deck on my house, I opted to get rid of the 300w halogen and get this 30w unit. I figured it might be a little dimmer, but it is just as bright as the one its replacing! I mounted it on a vertical surface, and have had to tip it down to keep it from lighting up all my neighbors yards and houses! I bought the Pure White unit, and its a very white light, so I'll use it for now, and if it looks too white with the winter snow, I may get a warmer white one and turn this one into a work light for my garage.Great product, and unlike the other LEDs I've put throughout my house, this one will pay for itself quickly.
