Looks great and extremely strudy
We got this ceiling mount because our apartment has a support beam in the corner, so maximizing space is important to us. The ceiling is cement and has two cement hangers holding the mount, which makes it extremely sturdy. This mount is easy to install, and the pole being white blends into our wall. Currently holding a tv that is 10yrs old so a bit heavier, as well as a Bose soundbar. I recommend this mount to get the TV off the floor or even off the wall to utilize your space better, especially for apartments.

Great ceiling mount
I used this to mount a TV on the ceiling of my patio and it worked great. The tilt is perfect for the application too. Only downside is the slot to run cords through the tube is a little small, I really had to shove the cord in to pull it through but it worked. Another thing to note is the center of the mount sits right at the back of the TV where the AV ports are on my TV, but I didn't know that since I opened the mount and TV at the same time. I think its kind of a weird spot on the TV and should be fine for most tvs that have all the ports on the sides of the TV. This particular one was just like that so check before you cover any ports you might need.

Sturdy and easy to install
Overall, the mount was easy to install and works great - mounted a TV in my garage gym.The instructions could've been better but you'll get it after a few minutes staring at it (felt like reading a comic book).

Super happy with this mount
It's been working for a few months now and I couldn't be happier. I bought this mount because I wanted to get my 55" TV as close to the ceiling as possible, and this seemed like the best option I could find. There were a couple minor issues that might need to be considered. First, make sure you get a good hole drilled before putting in the lag bolts. I thought I did, but it wasn't deep enough and eventually I got to a point where all the torque I was putting on the bolt to finish putting it in snapped the bolt in half right in the ceiling. So I had to move it a couple inches from my original position. The problem was that my drill bit just didn't go deep enough.Next possible downside is that feeding the cables through the center of the pole is really difficult. There are two bolts that go through the pole that lock the height into place, and they get in the way to make it virtually impossible to get a larger connector such as an HDMI cable to go through it. I eventually gave up and just wrapped the cables around the pole. Way I see it, all that stuff is hidden behind the TV in the first place so what if all the cables aren't hidden neatly inside the pole. But all in all I've been super happy with it. Seems sturdy and solid and I expect to get a long life out of it.

Get what you pay for -- great arm
I needed a ceiling mounted are to mount a touch screen monitor, and I needed it to be sturdy, not simply hold the monitor/tv up. I got a different arm for half the price first -- and yes it held the monitor up, but interacting with it was impossible, it could not be tightened to sit securely, this one can. It's a simple install, the positions are adequately flexible, the fact there are 2 bolts per connecting point means you can torque them to eliminate any play. Yes torquing the bolts squeezes the tubes, that's the point, I'm OK with that, the fact is the arm has enough rotational movement at the base after I loosened the lower bolt, came way too tight from the factory, and has plenty of til capability. I can stand next to the touch screen monitor interact with it an not have it wobble back and forth, very pleased, disappointed I wasted 30 bucks on the useless mount I bought initially and can't return.

Awesome for what I need it for
Didn’t hang this mount. Instead used it to mount it vertically. It worked for me.

Telescopes to a short 16".
The telescoping height of a minimum of only 16" , allowed me to bolt the mount to the bottom of a cross beam on my outdoor kitchen. It allowed for the perfect height, so that the bottom of the tv still is over 6 feet from the floor. The tv sits up in the rafters, away from rain and wind.Easy to install and fit my needs.
