Good.
We bought this knowing our dog would need it soon but he passed before we used it. Looks to be good quality. It would have supported the back end of my 100 pound German shepherd without difficulty.

Well made and goes its' job
After a horrible accident which rendered one of my German Shepherd's nearly dead, and with severe injury to his spine, (He underwent surgery at the University of Tennessee's wonderful Veterinary Hospital,) I was told to use one of these to help him as he learned to walk all over again. It has been 3 months now since the surgery, and he is walking on his own with no help. He is a large dog, and without this lifting harness, I would never have been able to assist him in walking, which is the main reason he is doing so well. NO ONE thought he would get to the point he is at now, and he is still improving. Go Igor!

Wide and very well padded assist strap
This strap has worked wonders for our elderly dog who has lost a lot of the use of his rear legs. It is well padded and wide so it doesn’t hurt his belly/groin area. The height of the handles is perfect for me (I’m 5’11”) and they are very sturdy and well made. Even if you’re significantly shorter you can adjust your grip on the straps to make it work for you.I highly recommend this strap to help you if your dog needs assistance with his rear legs for walking.

For larger dogs
This item was a gift to my Mom as she has a 55+ dog that is getting older and having a hard time getting up. I had used one similar for my Great Dane. She said she uses it all the time. She tried steps and ramps trying to get her dog in and out of the car and the dog wouldn't use either one. Now she uses it to help her in by lifting up just enough where the dog can use it's front legs to pull herself up. My mom is 86 years old and this has been a very handy item for her.

My dog's comfort is the most important thing.
I have a 14 1/2 year old coon hound, 100 lbs, whose back legs are going bad. Although he is still able to walk, there are times when his back legs fail him and he needs help getting up. I wanted something that would be comfortable for him and this dog life has worked perfectly for both of us.
