Works like new
I bought this battery for a Verizon Coupe cellphone since the original one would not hold a charge very long. I installed the new battery, charged it up, and the phone operates now as good as new.

ALWAYS have a spare
the quality of this battery matches that of the phone it goes to-great! Reliable! Will recharge for 2 years +. Have been unable to find replacements batteries when needed, so this time I purchased back up battery when I got phone. Could not pass up such a good price!

Just what I needed
Battery works great in my phone, Old battery wouldn't hold a charge for long but the new one is an exact replacement and holds a charge for days. Low price is a plus!

Must have been old
Was not happy when it came because it was dead. It did not work at all. I charged it and it never worked. It had to be old. Because I only paid $1.95 I didn't bother to send it back. I am just hesistant on ordering any batteries in the future.

Wrong battery shipped but correct battery received after I contacted them
Ordered BTR-8960 battery for my Verizon phone. Was shipped BTR8B which does not charge in the phone. Not sure if it is interchangeable but never the less it did not work. Requested refund. They mailed out the correct battery after I contacted them. Replacement battery would not accept full charge. The batteries are junk but Buying-It is takes care of problems fast. They issued a full refund. Summary: Don't buy this battery - but you can be confident about your purchases from Buying-It.

Poor charge retention
Since the cell phone I ordered this for is a few years old, I wonder whether this replacement battery has been sitting around in a warehouse for as long a time. I don't think it was manufactured recently since from the first full charge it has lost its charge rather quickly (almost as fast as my old battery).It's okay if you have another battery you can switch with, but if it's the only battery you're relying on, it requires recharging too frequently.

As I told you before, the battery itself is probably fine BUT it had 1 more contact more than was required by my phone.I could not use it.
