Good Boy Organics Baked Organic Potato Snack, Barbeque, 3 Ounce

Central Market has a great sale on these so I made the unfortunate decision to pick up several bags.Reading that they are organic, non-GMO, I expected a bit of homemade taste as most natural items offer.Unfortunately I was surprised to see very chip totally flat but with some ridges as if stamped. I thought that looked rather like a man-made item rather than any sliced potato I'd seen but I didn't judge.I had a car full of friends who each grabbed some and 4 out of 4 voted the item cardboardly horrible.Reading the ingredients I then determined why they could not use the term "potato chip" but instead "potato snack". No potatoes. They build the chip out of powders: potato starches, powders, and flavors, but not actual chips of potatoes.While I know I can get organic flour, I do not want my potato chips to be processed from powders. Because then they taste like an orb built out of powders.Honestly, it's so bad it tastes like a chip that was left out for like 2 weeks. With sawdust on it.Bad enough that I had to write a review about it.Good Boy organics was a very bad boy on this one. Bops did not pop.

I tried these because they were on sale, gluten free, and low calorie - enough for me to buy a bag! The chips tasted mild, not too spicy or salty, and didn't make me feel like I ate a brick (which most fatty potato chips will do). These are made out of potato flour instead of straight up potatoes, and baked - which makes them awesomely low fat.

Terrible ingredients even for organic. Palm fruit oil is destroying the rainforest. Corn flour is not something anyone should want in their potato chips. Also these are super gross. Just an all around NO NO.
