Fit and quality
Let me start out by saying that I am 84 years old and it isn’t always easy for me to work on a vehicle. This produce had simple yet easy to understand directions, parts were clearly marked, and installation was not difficult. Everything went smoothly and they look great. It took me about two and a half hours, but getting up and down was my issue. Can’t praise the simplicity of installation too highly. Follow the directions, do not tighten the bolts until everything is installed then go back and do a final tightening. I used a torque wrench for the final tightening, and will recheck in a week or two. Two thumbs up.

GREAT fit and inexpensive upgrade for my 2021 TDR Off Road Taco!
I recently bought a 2021 Toyota Tacoma TDR Off Road. After upgrading the tires to off road and putting on a sick Snug Top XTR shell, there still seemed to be something missing. I ordered these hoping they would complete the look and they're practically perfect! I can't believe how great they are and how easy to install for how little they cost! See the before and after yourself. I am a 38 y/o woman with ZERO experience working on cars and I installed these 100% by myself in about 30 minutes start to finish. It was seriously so easy and straight forward! The instructions were perfectly clear and sufficient and all I needed was a socket wrench and a flat head screw driver for popping out the little plastic place holder screws that came in the truck. It looks SO much better now and is way easier to get in and out of for my 8 year old especially. Also, for the record, I really put this truck to work in terms of terrain and weather. I take packs of dogs off leash hiking in the mountains 3 days a week here in Salt Lake City rain or shine all year long. This truck (with these nerf boards) have been through numerous blizzards and snow and rain storms, slogged through mud and dirt and been through the car wash a dozen times now and they still look awesome! I never bottom out and scrape the bottoms on rough terrain (though the higher profile off road tires definitely help with that) and they still look basically like new!I will say you can tell a little that the quality may not be quite as high as other, more expensive or name brand running boards in the somewhat ill fitting plastic end caps, but it's not something that is very obvious to anyone but the person installing them and honestly it's a tradeoff I'm totally ok with for saving a bundle of money after paying a lot for the truck itself and the other upgrades. If you're on the fence, I would say to go for it and buy these. What do you have to lose besides a lot of money!? So far they have been great for me and I will update if for any reason I change my opinion. And yes, I did pay full price for them.I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! Feel free to ask any questions.

Super simple
Husband was able to install these nerf bars on his 2011 Tacoma in about 45 minutes !! All the holes on the brackets lined up perfectly with the factory pre drilled holes on the truck !! Highly recommend for the quality you get for the price !!

Looks great.
These are a great value for the money. Fits well and looks great. My only wish would be that they were a little lower so a more comfortable step up.

Don’t waste your money!
So my one and only complaint is that the holes didn’t line up at all!!I admit that in the past I haven’t always read the instructions when putting things together but this time I actually did! Everything was going great up until putting the boards on the brackets! The instructions were super simple and I was so excited!! As you can see in my pictures the holes just didn’t line up, & I tried them every which way I could! Apart from drilling a hole in them, which I could do, I couldn’t find any way they could fit! Finally tried asking my local Toyota dealership and they told me it was because they were for an access cab. I’m pissed because I read so many great reviews before I bought it and made sure there were multiple other reviews with 2020 Tacoma Double cabs!Update: TAC customer service is horrible! Talked to me like I’m just a dumb woman and wanted me to pay $45 to return them! Finally got fed up and just called Amazon directly who of course refunded my money right away and apologized for the way the seller treated me! I know have to figure out what to do with the boards but at least I got my money back! Amazon is Amazing!!! TAC is pure crap! Also the correct boards were at my local dealership for only $10 more and they installed them for me at no extra cost!

Nice Looking Nerf/Step Bars But Improvements Needed
Step bars look good and are economically priced. Packaged well and shipping was within the specified timeframe. The whole assembly was very easy to install with basic tools and took me about 1 hour by myself being careful, laying things out, reading the directions, etc. Significant con - The bars are too close to the cab and are actually slightly underneath the edge of the door sill (see attached pic), not allowing me to put more of my foot up onto the step pad and causing some difficulty maneuvering into the front driver's seat (I can only fit the ball of my foot with shoes onto the step, if placing my foot perpendicular to the step bar). I've adjusted my tactic entering the cab by placing my left foot length wise along the step pad to gain more support and then kind of side stepping into the cab while steadying myself with the steering wheel, since there is no hand hold on the driver's side to grab onto (try not to put too much force on the steering wheel). Suggested improvement to the manufacturer - lengthen the support brackets by ~1-1/2" and lower by about 1/2" so the bars stand out a bit and are slightly lower from the truck.Had I read the past reviews about the bars being too close to the cab before purchasing them, I probably would have went a different route. But I've got them now and am beyond the return period so I am going to make the best of it.
