I was really skeptical over if this product would work or not - it seemed like some hippie bogus that people who don't realize they still stink would wear. I used to wear standard drugstore deodorant, but found it was adding an odd smell to my pits. I'm living in a hot State where I'm sweating more often. That, mixed with being freshly postpartum, I'm noticing odor sooner than I normally would. My husband swears I don't smell, but I decided to find something that might help. I knew standard and natural deodorants weren't the way for me, so I searched and eventually found this product. It's supposed to work by applying to cleaned armpits, and the salt stick naturally inhibits the growth of the bacteria that smells in your underarms. It WILL NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE DIRTY PITS! The whole point is starting with a clean, fresh slate and avoiding the stinky bacteria to begin with; not trying to remedy it with extra product like a traditional deodorant.So, I gave myself a good scrub in the shower, lathered my pits for about a minute each, rinsed, and dried. Then I wet the stick (seems to be controversial from other reviews, I think most people want their skin wet rather than the stick, but this worked better for me) and gave a good slather of the product on my underarms. I kept my arms in the air and twisted my body a few times to have them air-dry faster. After that, I was set. No stains on my clothes, no weird smell, and after a full day of wear I had NO ODOR! I couldn't believe itI've used it for a few days now with the same results. This product definitely works, it's easy to use, and it lasts all day as long as it was applied correctly from the startA word of advice: if you use it out of the shower and find your pits still smell, you didn't clean your pits properly. Most people don't scrub their underarms enough, they just put some soap on them quickly and let the water take the suds away. You gotta scrub them things!

I wore this for the first time all day, today at work. I worked outside "light labor" and I have no smell whatsoever. I come from wearing Mitchem Roll-on Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for years. But working and not sweating is a not good and Mitchem has one ingredient: ALUMINUM ZIRCONIUM. <-- Ya --> NO! So I switched to Naive or something, but the stick didnt last long and it was expensive. I'll research more into these ingredients and if they are what they say they are then ill probably be using this from now on. There are plenty of lymph nodes under my armpits and im not gonna feed them foreign chemicals everyday as ive been for years.

This is not an anti-perspirant. If you sweat a lot, this is maybe not for you. I don’t, so this did the job. Handles outdoor walks well! I can’t believe a salt stick can work like this. Lasts all day and my armpits even look better… no red dots or irritation. I didn’t realize it was being caused by my deodorant. Great clean option! No scent which is perfect for me because I always get rashes with scented.

Ok, it works. Does it avoid ALL smell? No. BUT, it's worth the purchase. I use it in my underarms and chest area. I use it everyday and no bad reactions. I can usually smell a little of my B.O. by end of day, but I honestly don't mind a slight scent. If I'm doing yard work or it's super hot, then I'll use an actual deodorant. Absolutely recomendable.

1st deodorant that doesn’t just mask a smell. These I put on after shower and never smell. Before I started using them I smelled horrible even got to a point my husband said something even when showering up to 3xs a day to wash stink. Product came just as advertised. I like the size of the product, it's bigger than others I have used which is a plus. This would be my first choice when repurchasing.
