Most of this book is written as for any dog. But it was nice to get some information about the breed. I would have preferred it to just have information about the breed, as this will be a new breed and size dog for me.

I like the book but it is not the ultimate book on Havanese. I have other books that seem to know more on the basics.

Was hoping for more breed specific photos and information, but this book has a lot of good information, and i agree with the general dog info.

Good book, Havanese breed is new for our family. Explains the breed and characteristics. What to do and what not.

This book is so generic; it's almost as if the publisher uses 'find and replace' to change the breed name as very little is specific to the Havanese. I would recommend reading the advice on the internet (Purina, Kennel Club, Pets at Home, Pets4Homes etc) and saving your money.
