If you're looking to try each of the flavors before committing to one or two definitely just go with these. Purpose was served and its good to try each flavor twice.

Overall, Soylent is incredibly convenient and I really liked that there were versions that included caffeine ("Café"). The texture isn't too bad, but the taste takes a little getting used to. Vanilla and Strawberry brought back old memories of Pediasure, while the Café Latte and Café Mocha were a little more bitter than I expected. My favorite was the Chai version. I'd buy again.

I got a variety pack of Soylent mainly to drink as a breakfast replacement in the morning. The taste is okay and it gives you a good amount of calories. I won't say that it is satiating because I still felt a little hungry but it's okay. The taste is fine. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because well, it gave me the runs, like really bad. Maybe it was something else, but within a couple of days of no longer drinking this, I went back to normal. Also, the expiration dates on the bottles were all over the place. A couple expired a within month of me receiving the package but most of them last until early 2022.It does the job I guess but gave me an unpleasant side effect. I'm sure everyone is different. I have a different one that I drink that has half the calories and much less fat, (slightly more) sugar and has more fiber and more protein. It's plant based as well. Those seem to agree with me, so I'll stick with those. Also, fewer calories mean I can eat something else as well.
