Bought these hats for going outside with our dog.The brim protects front & sides from sun -- and the back-flap covers my neck & shoulders without excessive material (for a narrow-boned 5'2" woman).The nylon material is very light-weight -- but a little bit hot. The crown of the hat has a pretty good amount of mesh for ventilation. The front brim is a little heavier, so hasn't flapped much in the breeze.Since I did not need to use the back adjustment cord, I do not know whether or not that is a "weak-link" in construction, as some have said. Have only used a couple of weeks. If it holds up, I shall be very happy indeed.

Absolutely love these hats for my 3 year old and 4 year old! Very nice coverage! Perfect for this hot summer weather!My only disappointment is that after I handwashed the hats, one of the hats elastic string broke so I returned it. Luckily they exchanged it with no problems. BUT same thing happened with the new ones we got in. Unfortunately I didn't return it this time bc the covid and couldn't make it to ups. And now its past the return date.. So these hats are just sitting here unable to use bc without the elastic, its too big for my girl.Besides this, great product ! Especially if you want coverage

good price, size is big enough to have a shade to protect face and neck, just the top is thin, I have concern if it can prevent enough UV. I have to put a handkerchief because I also want to protect the head skin.

These are amazing and provide lots of Sun coverage for my kids. The colors are beautiful and their light weight. Only complaint I have is that the pulley on the back of one of the hats snapped/tore off. I can’t fix it because the pulley goes inside the seam of the hat so I’ll just do more damage. I considered returning it also but it doesn’t affect the fit on my daughter’s head and she can use the strap that goes under the chin to hold in place on a windy day. Keep that in mind when ordering...

Took these hats to Florida for a week of Fun in the Sun with the kids. They where great shade hats. Definitely recommend them.

Bought one set that we really liked (good fit, adjustable to stay on with wind and play, excellent sun protection, light weight) so we bought a second; but with that set the elastic that tightens the hat broke after the second use. Bummed because we otherwise really like these hats. We use to recommend them to friends but we can’t now that this happens unfortunately.

The big brim and neck flap really helps in preventing sunburn on my toddler, who burns easily! This way she doesn’t need to wear sunblock on her face when we’re just playing in yard. The hat is kinda big on her haha, but she’s not burning! The adjustable elastic helped make the hat fit on her, so that’s good to have.

Value for money, protection is good around ears and neck. I am a small Asian female and fits well.
