I started with a simple haircut scissors for the first couple of times and it worked ok, but then I found this product. Great value for an entire haircut kit. I especially love the thinning sheers. Trying to blend the sides with the top is very difficult unless you are a professional (which I am not). The thinning sheers included in this kit makes it incredible simple to blend. The scissors, combs and other accessories are great too. The scissors are just as good as the pair I bought for the same price as this whole kit.There is only one part of this product that I think could be improved. The cape is very thin cheap material. I wish they -provided a better quality cape even if they had to charge another $5. Other option would be to just exclude it. That being said, it does the job and keeps you shirt from being covered in hair.Overall, great product for the at home barber!

This set was pretty good for trimming up the hair. I am a cosmetologist and I use a better grade but I bought this for my elder sister so her hair could be trimmed during Covid and it was reported back to me it was easy to use and did a good job.

I’ve cut my hair quite a few times without the right tools and each time, it was disastrous and needed professional help. I swore never to cut my own hair again but then Covid19 happened. Out of desperation, I bought this and figured no one is going to see me for months anyway and cut away. The tools are perfect, cuts easily, and made to fit into my hand comfortably. Surprisingly, the haircut turned out great! I don’t think I’ll be going back to my hairdresser even after the pandemic ends unless this first time was a fluke! Family, friends, and my husband both liked the cut and my husband used some of the tools for his own haircut! He said the quality was surprisingly good.

I liked the kit. Everything has it place. Products were easy to use, and cut good. Only issue was with the plastic comfort bands on scissors. They don’t stay on. Not a problem for me, but could be for someone else.

I'm a mom of 4 and we're not not going to a salon for haircuts right now...so far everything I need for short hair and long hair is here and works well, I like the slight angle the scissors have.

This was a nice set. The scissors are very sharp. The brush was cracked when we got it and fell apart.

I'm not a professional at cutting hair or anything - not licensed. I have been doing it for a long time though, for my family, etc. Anyway, for this price??! These are the best scissors I've used!! I spent more money on "professional" high-end ones that were nowhere nearly as comfortable to use, or as precise. SOOO happy!
