Dagoba Organic Chocolate - Hot Drinking Chocolate Unsweetened - 8 oz.

I love strong, dark chocolate, and am also trying to cut sugar from my diet, so I bought this Dagoba chocolate powder to make hot cocoa drinks. I heat up 1 cup of milk, whisk in 2 tbsp of Dagoba powder (not the recommended 3 Tbsp), and then a tiny amount of All Natural Stevia Powder (by Wholesale Health Connection, here on Amazon) to sweeten it a bit. Delicious!

Yuck. Bitter, chalky, dry. I love rich dark chocolate. I don't like sweet chocolate at all, but "as is", this is not drinkable unless you enjoy the taste of drinking bitter powder. I combined this with milk in an attempt to make hot chocolate. I gave this one star because it is called drinking chocolate. I will try it for baking..

This is seriously the best drinking cocoa I have tried. I mix it with cashew milk and palm sugar - delicious and it doesn't spike blood sugar like most mainstream brands that contain cane or beet sugar. The cocoa is velvety smooth and has a rich taste. I will be buying this again. You won't be disappointed!

This isn't bad. I like dark chocolate and I prefer 90%...so not what you would consider sweet. This is rich and definitely not sweet. But you can't expect to buy this and have it taste like swiss miss. This is UNSWEETENED chocolate...that means it's essentially like cocoa powder...so if you want to compare, take a spoonful of your baking cocoa powder and that will give you an idea of what you are getting. This does dissolve a little better than your typical cocoa powder, however, which makes it better for drinking. I actually like to put just one small spoon with cream and no sugar into my coffee to give my coffee an extra depth. If you are looking for a sweet cocoa, this isn't it. To be honest I'm not sure if I would repurchase...for the price...and what it does I think regular good quality cocoa powder is comparable.

Wonderful real chocolate taste. Made with milk. No sugar & Organic. How can you go wrong? Tried many hot chocolate/cocoa mixes. This beats them all.

This stuff rocks. I put a teaspoon in a cup of green tea with a tiny bit of raw honey, and pretend I'm protecting my health; for all I know I am... Tastes great!

love this product, made it for Hot Chocolate & for baking a delicious Chocolate Cake. When i run out will be buying again
