Excellent product service
The first tank they sent did not work for some reason. It wouldn't take a fill. But after contacting them they promptly shipped out a replacement tank and their service response time was outstanding.

Good tank, reasonably priced.
My main concern was the date of manufacture. Propane tanks are only good for 12 years and then they must be recertified or you can't get them filled. The cost of recertification is about the same as the cost of a new tank. That's why I bought two of these. The date of manufacture is 08/19. I was pleased with that.As many other reviewers have pointed out, these tanks do not have the Flame King name on them. They are just plain white tanks with a black plastic mesh around them. That's not a big deal to me. As long as these tanks fulfill their intended purpose, the Flame King name means absolutely nothing to me. I got them filled today and connected them to my travel trailer. They serve the purpose for which I bought them. The price was right and the shipping was free. I am completely satisfied. By the way they are made in Thailand if that's important to you. The only thing that's important to me is that they don't leak and I can get them filled without any b.s. for the next 11 years and 1 month. The sad thing is that I have 2 perfectly good tanks that I can't get filled because they are 13 years old.

Perfect out of the box. No issues whatsoever.
Unlike some, our tank arrived in perfect condition, with no dents or dings and a 01/19 manufacture date.As others have mentioned, there was no FlameKing wrapper, but there WAS a Flame King label on the top of the tank, along with inspection sticker etc...We had no issue with filling the tank at our supplier. We copied the description page that showed that the tank was fully purged before shipping, and that satisfied our supplier. Operation of the regulator was also without issue. This tank will be used on our longer travels in our motorhome to be used for our outdoor cooking grill and griddle, as well as a portable firepit. We expect a lot longer use between fills because this is the equivalent of TWO 20lb exchange tanks like Blue Rhino that really only fill their tanks to 14-15 lbs. We have a measured 28.7lbs in the tank upon filling it.All in all, we are very pleased with the purchase, and at a lot lower on Amazon than local brick and mortar stores and warehouse stores. It's FIVE STARS for us and a hearty recommendation!** If you found my review helpful to you, please let Amazon know by clicking the "HELPFUL" button below!

A MUST HAVE
After reading many of the reviews. I almost did not get it. I am very glad I did. I was a little worried about the age of the tank. It is not an issue as it is only 8 weeks old. I bought it 11/22 and it was made 9/22. It was purged and did have the flame king sticker on it. I gave it 4 stars as there was some minor damage to it. It seems to be a trend. They need to do better packaging. It is in no way a deal breaker. I did not buy it as a piece of art or to look at. Overall it looks new and works just like it should. The money you save off trade-ins alone it will pay for itself it the first year. Where I am located a 20 pound trade-in (actually only 15 pounds) cost around $32. The price to fill this 30 pound tank was under $25, Owning your own also gives you the bonus of keeping any unused propane. Unlike the trade-ins that you don't and give it away with the tank. It is only weighs 25 pounds empty so getting it filled is not a chore either.

Arrived in Very Good condition
The recent rash of bad reviews almost scared me away when I upsized my RV's tanks. But being the same brand as those that came on it, I decided to take the risk. So glad I did! The complaints and photos from others were completely unfounded with my two new tanks. Wrapped in bubble wrap (though admittedly not heavily) one of the two had a very small dent at the bottom where the side rolls under to form the bottom. The other had only a tiny rubbed spot in the paint worn in shipping. Both entirely inconsequential. Zero damage at top "handle" seen in others' photos. Mfg. date code 5/2020. Paint job was very good, high gloss, heavy coat. Flame King labels and evacuation stickers intact. My only issue was the valve on one tank had somehow been opened and its vacuum purge lost. No problem, however, as my supplier merely opened the purge screw on the side of the valve and filled until liquid appeared, pushing the air out as it filled. Good value, fast delivery, very happy with purchase!
