Oma and Me: A Christmas Story

Such a sweet traditional Christmas story. Great introduction to another culture and some German words for kids.

I am an Oma...and it is nice having a book that talks and usesOma as the grandmother...! Sweet Book...!

The story is cute, however I was hoping for a bit more German background or information on the German Christmas traditions. There are also only a handful of German words used and 2 are misspelled/ translated wrong. I agree with other reviewers that the illustration of Oma is odd, since her face looks the same on every page.

As a retired Geman teacher and German American, this book teaches interesting German holiday traditions.

My 7 year old granddaughter really liked this story and so close to Christmas.The book is probably written for a younger child, but she enjoyed it nonetheless.She loves the little German lessons that are in each book.

Good for younger children with short attention spans. It's good that it talks about some Christmas traditions.

A primer for building a German vocabulary.

Reflects several German Christmas traditions and a sweet story. Oma loved reading it to my daughter!
