Khadi Handmade Paperback Book 15 x 15 cm White Medium Smooth

This is a great little sketchbook. The paper has a nice texture, and I love the little imperfections from it being handmade. I've used it with Japanese watercolors, traditional western watercolor and non soluble artist crayons. I love how the paper takes the paint. Its got that cotton paper vibe, and affords the user a nice amount of control. The deckled edge give the book a gritty, well used, well loved quality to the book. The paper is a bit thin, so you probably can only use one side. But that's the only negative I can think of. I hope I can find this paper in a bigger size because I want to buy more!

This is wonderful watercolor paper. It might be better if this sketchbook had a cover. I live painting on this strong, resilient surface.

It's homemade quality. I am experimenting with different shape and size books. This one is small and square. Be sure you read the dimensions. The pages have a nice thickness and a bit of tooth. The cover is plain white, so it encourages the creative from the get go. I'm looking forward to filling these pages. I am a multimedia artist.

Pages don’t lie flat and one of the pages is only a partial page.

I'm a bit of a paper junkie, and this lovely, heavy, deckle edge paper is a really nice addition to my paper collection.

Very good quality

Loved it. Holds water and spread watercolour smoothly. Doesn't dry too quick, allows you time to pick colours and mix them before it dries. Excellent.

Although this paper is thinner than the watercolor paper I'm used to, it holds quite a bit of water and is nice to paint on. It tends to buckle when the project is completed, but left to dry overnight, it straightens itself and becomes smooth and beautiful. The book and packs have deckle edges and the artsy look and feel are just what I love. I will definitely be back for more.

Love the quality of paper

Ich habe es benutzt, um in freier Zeit mit Aquarellfarben zu experimentieren nach dem Motto "30 Bilder in 3 Tagen" oder so. 6x gedreht und gewendet, auch mit Tusche, 6x Porträt, 6x Malmesser, 6xBlüten mit Tusche, 6x Engel. Immer an jedem der sechs Bilder gemalt hintereinander. Am besten kamen die Farben mit Aquarellstiften, aufgetragen und verwaschen. Und Tusche mit Feder. Bei Aquarellfarben hat sich das Papier gewellt, da ich es nicht aufgespannt hatte. Ich habe es mir jetzt als größeren Block bestellt. Es ist sehr interessant, um es mit Wasserfarben zu benutzen.Es ist ganz weich und biegsam, eher wie Stoff, nicht wie starres Papier. Es riecht nicht und kommt in einem Block, der auf einer Seite geklebt ist. Man kann es auch als Skizzenbuch in interessantem Format benutzen. Ich hatte den Block vor Gebrauch aufgeschnitten. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

This paper is so beautiful, love the rustic look. It's great for watercolours as it is 100% cotton. I thought it would be a bit heavier but it says the weight in the product description. It's still great to paint on.
