Bought this air bag for my 2007 BMW X5 4.8i. left rear airbag kept losing air overnight or basically anytime it was parked. Installation was relatively easy, just watched a couple of YouTube videos and I was done in less than 2 hours taking my time. Make sure if you're doing it yourself to release the air slowly out of the lines. Independent shops wanted $600 for labor and $400 for the part. I bought the park here on Amazon for $50 and saved myself $950. I'm still surprised that it is not bolted on and just twists in on the top and bottom! I also used the original top cover because it wasn't damaged and I didn't want to put a new fitting at the end of the line. It's been about a month and all good so far!

08 x5 4.5. Went on easy. Been on the car a few months now as a I bought it a while ago. Has been working great. Recommend.

I replaced one of my rear bags with this about a year ago on my e70 and it’s still going strong. Now the other side is starting to sag. I reused the original baffle and nut so I did not have to cut the hose.

Installed few months ago. I have had 0 issues. Great for the value so far

Very happy with the new air bags and the whole job was about 15min per side. I did have to replace the compressor because I let these things leak for over a year which put undue wear and tear on the compressor. No more sag!

Had these Air Springs installed professionally last week, and now instead of one leaking bag, they are both leaking and sagging overnight. Took it back to the shop where they confirmed both units have pin hole leaks. Complete waste of Money, and now I will likely have to pay labor charges again to have a non-defective set reinstalled.

The bottom of this spring has clips that should secure it through the hole in the suspension arm. The hole in the arm of my 10/2010 build X5 is 32 mm diameter. The extent of the clips on this bag is 32.3 mm —> this isn’t enough to properly secure the base.Apart from that, the construction quality appears good (especially for the price) and delivery is fast.You could jury rig this thing to secure it to the base by tapping in a screwed connection, but all this makes for what should be a 30 min install take several hours before you figure out what’s gonna wrong and make a repair.
