DAFNI go Hair Straightening Ceramic Brush (Purple)

My have is thin and cut in a just above shoulder length bob. This brush was perfect for taming the frizzing and to straighten hair. Heats up very quickly and have to be careful with thin hair because it does get hot. Works great.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this product a couple years ago, but unfortunately it didn’t work for my hair so I set it aside (tried it a couple more times after that with no luck).A couple weeks ago, my mum asked me to straighten her hair and I remembered having this brush, so I decided to try it in her hair. It worked great. Her hair was perfect in minutes. Unfortunately, after 2 more uses the brush went into failure mode (red and green light blinking).Although I purchased this a couple years ago, it is disappointing that it only handled 5 uses and it was dead (I’ve had my hair dryer and straightener for about 10 years and they still work).Save your money and stay away from this brand.

I was stunned by how well the Dafni brush worked. I have naturally curly hair that is thick and frizzes easily. I rarely straighten my hair because it can take well over an hour, and I avoid damaging my curls if I can. I can count the number of times I’ve had a blowout on one hand, but the Dafni brush helped me achieve the same results in about the same time (20-30 minutes).The brush heats quickly and is intuitive to use. So long as you really keep some tension on the hair, you can go under and over the hair shaft to get good results. I highly recommend sectioning hair to get better results. Some have written that this brush can’t achieve pin-straight hair. However, with a little extra time and patience put into sectioning, brushing and re-straightening sections, I felt my results were fairly similar to a flat iron’s or blowout’s results. That said, reaching the scalp was difficult and some pieces of hair still had some wave to them at the top.Overall, here are my pros and cons for this brush:PROS:-Heats to a safe, comfortable temperature (still mind your hand placement as I slightly burned my finger on first use)-Intuitive to use-Straightens hair easily and quickly-Not heavy, and easy to holdCONS:-Detachable cord is quite difficult to remove. Detaching mine actually resulted in a small piece of plastic coming off inside the brush and on a shiny plastic piece between the brush and cord.-Without removing the cord, the brush doesn’t fit in the case-The case is a little bulkier than expected. I hoped it was more rectangular than rounded for easier packing.-While the automatic shut-off is a nice safety feature, I needed maximum heat throughout the entire straightening process to get the best resultsFINAL THOUGHTS:If you’re looking for a faster way to style your hair, this brush is a great option. For the price of a blowout or two, you can achieve the same level of styling at home in about the same time, and certainly less time than with a flat iron.

Just like my headline says, this product is absolutely worth the money. It's an awesome tool to have and it saves time. Very easy to carry around, heats up quick. I couldn't be happier.Couple things for the curly haired girls- If you have thick, curly coarse hair (like I do) this product will not straighten your hair to your satisfaction if you start with simply air-dried curls. It's not a flat iron. BUT If you use it in conjunction with your blow dryer, or as a way to quickly freshen your hair in the morning or after the gym, you'll get what you are looking for.Pros: it gets much closer to the root and those little curly-q's on the side of my head are much easier to straighten without burning myself. It also is very easy to get the back of my head which sometimes had the 'bumps'. This product definitely helps me feel like I get the results I get with a blowout.Cons: You may need to use more of a smoothing serum or oil to tame some of the little frizzies that come from a hairbrush. My hair is pretty dry so I noticed this on my first use, but a little more product and I was good.Overall very highly recommended. I watched one video on how to use it and that definitely helped.

Useless product, broke down after five uses!!! It started emitting sparks and afterwards beeping and flickering red and green lights!!! And worst of all - I can't really send it back since I am overseas! I am extremely angry and disappointed for wasting my money!UPDATE: I contacted DAFNI customer service and they were nice enough to send me a replacement brush without me returning the broken one (since I am overseas postage costs are bonkers). As long as it works for a long time, I will be happy, since the brush actually does what is says.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Love this, I use other hair brush straighteners but this is by far the best. Easy to use, great for travelling (super great actually) and leaves hair in good condition without drying it out. If you are thinking about buying a cheaper product that competes with this, don’t, this is definitely an investment purchase that will pay you back with great hair over and over again!

Not good for curly thick hair. I watched tons of videos that made this look like it would be a great product. It's not at all like the videos claim. All those youtubers either got the product for free to review it or have wavy thinner hair. It leaves your hair very very poofy as if you were in humidity. It's nothing like a flat iron straightener . It takes at least 30 -45 minutes to get a very strange kind of straight. I held it against my hair very taught and had to move the brush super slow and it broke my hair and really burned it . Get a Wet3Straight by Conair for around 30 bucks and it works way better on dry hair than the Dafni does.

This brush is amazing!! I've bought knockoffs before so I was very skeptical, but this original straightening brush really works. I have very thick, kinky curly hair, and this brush is able to reach my roots and get deep into my hair to straighten it all very quickly. This has cut my styling time in half. If it can work for my hair, it can definitely work for yours!

The media could not be loaded.  The green and red light blinking. Not heating up. It's a new piece. It's of no use. Please avoid wasting money

ITS A DUPLICATE PRODUCT. TRYING TO STRAIGHT MY HAIR SINCE 2018 CHRISTMAS EVE WITHOUT ANY EFFECT.

Tried it once so far and it was very quick and easy to use. (My hair is very thick with a natural wave.) I have two little kids so it’s perfect for taming and doesn’t flatten hair like flat irons do. I prefer to have volume so, so far I will give it 5 stars 👍
