Daniel Green Women's Denise Scuff Slipper

So a quick update on these slippers. DG's were once a high quality sipper, not any more. This is the right foot slipper, as you can see it has burst clean open. Also note, the bottom of the slipper is clean, so it is never, ever worn outside since it is a house shoe. This is the 2nd pair that has fallen apart in about a year. Will NEVER purchase again. DONE!

They are good slippers, and very attractive. I read a lot of reviews that said to order a larger size because they run short.I wear an 8, but usually a 7 1/2 in an open shoe. So I thought the 8 would be fine. It wasn't. They were definitely too short. I had to return them.

I have a fairly narrow foot, and the narrow is not very narrow - so if you are a medium width, I would not suggest going to a wide width as someone else suggested. However, I wear a 7.5 normally and went up to an 8N. The 8N was still too small, so I went up to an 8.5N and they fit perfectly. So personally I would suggest going up one full size in these slippers. I really like these slippers, and they are the same as ones I had 30 years ago.

Just what I was looking for. Feminine house shoes with a little heel on them that was safe for my hardwood floors. I can comfortably do everything around my house in these. My only complaint is sizing. I wear a 9-9.5 usually but in these I had to order an 11 for them not to look too small. My first pair was a 10 because other reviewers advised to order up. But even those looked small on. I had them on for less than 1 minute before my husband questioned them....he was confused because we don’t wear shoes in the house (they don’t look like your typical fuzzy slippers, ballet flats, crocs, or Ugg’s). He also wanted to know why I would go out and buy new shoes so small. Ive never gotten a size 11 shoe before but I’m not concerned about a number. I just want what fits and looks nice on. These are a great price. I’m tempted to buy a second pair.Pro: Beautiful, elegant, feminine, comfortable, reasonably priced.Con:Had to order a size 11. Appears the size is measured from the bottom of the sole which is usually only accurate on flip flops.Ohh! When I put them on they clicked for a few minutes in the wedge part as I took steps and my weight sank into them but that went away. Not sure what that was about but they were cute enough for me to keep them on.

Quarantine has made it, sadly, my every day shoe. The fit is definitely too narrow although I purchased the W width. Made mostly of man made materials it makes my feet sweaty but on overall they are fairly well made.

I wore this slipper for years and was tickled to see on Amazon, great price. And whether sizes in manufacturing process has changed or my foot has ( the latter is very possible) even so due to recommendations I ordered size larger, who wants a tight slipper? I am so glad I did, would not have fit at all if I ordered regular shoe size. Still it's rather snug across the top of foot/toes. I am sure with wear, it will soften and stretch a bit. I didn't really look if they make a 'wider' choice. To order again if an option I will choose wide, although I don't require in my regular street shoes. Not unhappy, just not the comfy glove fit right out of the box, will take a little 'breaking -in'!

These slippers run narrow, so as the other reviewers say repeatedly - order up. I ended up returning because the wedge is a lot higher than I was expecting. I was looking for slide on slippers that could withstand being outdoors on patio, in the garage, etc. These should be bundled with a silk caftan and a cigarette holder; they feel too dressy for merely running around the house and are a throw back to the 1960/1970 era. And, they are very slippery on rugs. These didn't work for me.

I always liked Daniel Green slippers but the last two times I bought them from Amazon, they just don't fit right, very hard inside. Maybe women in their 20's their feet don't mind this, but I am a little older and like I said this is the 2nd time they fit horribly. They were on sale so I thought I would try again and thats why I bought the second pair from Amazon, The slippers are pretty but thats about it. I should really get a refund, because I need house slippers and I have to buy another pair now. What a disappointment and pain too in my feet from these slippers, hard as a rock, Daniel Greene slippers sure have changed. Let me know about a refund I deserve it for all the pain and suffering. These are very pretty house slippers and seem to be very well made. After reading the customer reviews on sizing I decided to order up a size but also ordered in wide for the width as reviewers said they were too narrow and too short in their normal size. I have a regular shape foot with medium width and usually take a size 7M to 7 1/2M so I ordered an 8 1/2W and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and they are made in China if you're wondering. One reviewer did say that they were very slippery on her carpeting but I don't find that at all so perhaps a different type of carpet. I would recommend these if you're looking for a pretty, comfortable house slipper with a wedge heel. I ordered in the tri-color, gold, pewter & silver. I'm sure glad that I read all of the reviews though about the sizing or they'd be much too small and going back and that's a hassle.

These are beautiful. However, it took 3 different pairs to get the right size. I normally wear a 6 in a slipper, ordered them in a 6 wide, way too small so I ordered a 7, again, too small, too narrow. I ordered a 7 1/2 Wide. They fit perfectly so that’s 1 1/2 sizes bigger than normal. They are short and narrow.

These are very pretty and every thing is great except they are a bit tight across the top of my foot. I have a gold pair that I got about 3 years ago which did not have this issue. I'm sure these will stretch but I've only have had them for 2 days.

The narrow fitting is very narrow. I usually wear a A/AA shoe but these were surprisingly too tight. Easy return though and I ordered a Medium width replacement. Lovely slipper and reasonably priced for the quality. (I also ordered another similar pair (Glamor style - beige leather). So Yes I like them!!

Comfort table, good fit and the perfect slippers to wear at home. Just hard to find for some reason now. I am sure that in the States they are sold in many more stores than here in Montreal.
