We purchased this blanket to use when we go to the pool and sit in the grass. It move around ALOT because the two layers are only connected around the edge. Which makes the two layers slide easily and makes it easy to slip when walking on it. I would not recommend it for the elderly or someone with kids around a pool. You also need something on all 4 corners to keep a slight wind from blowing up the corners.

Nice blanket... kind of wish the two layers were more "connected" perhaps if they were sewn together in the middle rather than just the outside...

I got this Waterproof Picnic Blanket for many reasons.For our summer time to be able to sit out in the grass.Take it to the beach. You know how the sand can always feel damp well at least on the Oregon Coast beaches, unless it is extreamly hot.Knowing that this is a waterproof blanket, it should keep our bottoms dry. I hate taking sheets or blankets and lay them down on damp grass, and still get wet. Now this will not be a problem.The fact that it is pooring down rain in our Oregon state right now, I am not able to go on any venture.But what I can say about this blanket is that it reminds me of a sleeping bag.The quality of the material is nice and thick feeling, with no loose seams or strings hanging.The strap is all in one- wraps on both ends and makes a handle. With secure velcro clasping.I would think this is thick enough to actually use as a blanket to sleep with.The plaid matterial is not waterproof. But the black nylon material on the bottom does not leak through. I even poored water on it to test this out.I did set this out on my frontroom floor, so the kids could play on it.I am very excited to be able to use this when the weather gets much nicer and we are on our outtings.I actually think that this would be a great blanket to keep in the car. Just incase of a break down, and your stuck somewhere and need to keep covered. Just a thought.I like how it rolls up easily, and has the straps that wrap around. Its easy to take anywhere.Machine washable.The size is about a full size blanket. Compared to the measurements (70x57)I was given this at a promotional discount for my honest and unbias review.This is in my own opinion and words, with the use of and experment with this Waterproof Picnic Blanket.I would definatly recommend this to my friends, and family. I may even purchase again.

I liked the waterproof Picnic Blanket. I received the product in a timely fashion and it was exactly what i ordered. What i like about the product is the fact that it is light weight, soft material and easy to carry with me to the beach in addition to all the other things I take with me. Basically, I like the portability aspect of the product. Overall, I would buy this product if i needed another one in the future as well as would recommend it to friends and family.
