This deflator is easy to use (once you get used to it). It is also extremely fast! The large gauge is very easy to read and helpful in deflating your tire to an exact pressure.A few tips...-- While the inflator comes with detailed instructions with lots of pictures, I am instruction-challenged. I found a few YouTube videos that were very helpful in figuring out how to use the deflator. Now that I am used to using it, I find the process extremely quick and simple.-- Based on the above point, practice using the deflator in your driveway the first time, rather than on the trail.-- IMPORTANT! At high elevation, the pressure gauge will read high. (This is not unusual for some air pressure gauges at high elevation.) I have found that at 9000 ft, the gauge reads about 3 PSI higher than what the tire really is.

This device works well. It does require practice and additional assistance from youtube. I would have preferred a means to input or show the target psi.

This is the second one I bought because I left the first one sitting on my bumper after using it, then drove off and didn't realize it until it was too late.Once you get the hang of being able to tell when the tool connects with the internal part of the valve, so you can unthread the internal part, it's easy and fast to use. Read the instructions carefully and/or watch a youtube video, to learn how to use the tool. It's not self explanatory on learning how to use it, but it is also not difficult to learn. This is a very useful tool to have in your off-road kit.
