It's All About Me: Personality Quizzes for You and Your Friends

This book was given to me when I was younger, and it meant a lot to me. I was thrilled when I saw it being sold on Amazon. It is used, a little written in, but it is in good condition! Pages are all there, all in tact. Very happy. Thank you!

Both my teenage and pre-teen daughters enjoyed doing these books with their friends at an overnight party. They seemed to cover the book in bits-and-pieces but by the time they went home the next morning, they'd all completed the entire book and the girls commented on how much fun they had doing it. I think it's a good price for a low-key activity when the kids need to chill-out a little.

At first, I thought that the last thing my tween needed was a book titled, "It's All About ME!," since that's the daily battle cry for her age group.Surprisingly, this Klutz-brand book does a sweet job of introducing the idea of having a sense of humor about being so full of yourself. It gently acknowledges some familiar pre-pubescent worries such as: Why are my parents so annoying? How do I make friends? What am I going to be when I grow up?It explores these and other coming-of-age concerns through pop quizzes like "8 Ways to Tell if Your Parents are Extraterrestrials", "Is Your Buddy a Baddy?", "What Kind of Cookie are You" and "What's the `Write' Career for You?"The tween years can be bossy, brassy and brazenly expressed. Klutz takes that energy and channels it into self-reflection through humorous and fun-filled activities. A great buddy book for parallel play without adult supervision. All content treats the subjects and the reader in a respectful and sophisticated manner without being worldly and sarcastic."It's All About ME!" is designed as a keepsake with glossy-coated, heavy stock for the pages which are loaded with lots of color and action. Author Karen Phillips has done an outstanding job organizing and presenting this material. My daughter and her friend spent a couple of hours working this book to peals of laughter.Laughing at each other and themselves; now that's something I liked hearing.

Fun

This was a holiday gift for my ten-year-old granddaughter. She couldn't put it down once she opened it. Although she really loves to read, she was really surprised to find questions and puzzles and fill-ins that truly fit the ways that she thinks. The author is most accomplished in her abilities to think like a tween or teen. These are difficult years socially for this age, and Ms. Phillips provides many avenues through which the reader may walk on a journey of fun, laughter, and discovery of his/her own personality, character, and behavior.In a sense, this journal when filled in will provide a look back at growing up in the 21st century, and should be treasured for review years later.I highly recommend this title, It's All About Me, for teens and tweens as a discovery guide to their own social behavior. Cute book - bought as a gift but disappointed bc the pen that was included was missing/broken. Would've returned it but needed it for a gift before I could exchange it.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter's birthday last week. She loved it! Disappeared into her room for hours filling out all of the quizzes, and then came out to ask me questions to see how I rated and how our answers compared. Great conversation starter. She asked if she could get more books like this, and she will!

My daughter loves fill-in books that give her prompts. She also loves quizzes. This book was perfect for her, and she loved it. She immediately said, "THESE are the kind of books I want!".
