An Amazing knife- I have own one for years and now I give them out to family for Christmas because of the longevity and ease of use. Be careful these are very sharp and if treated correctly they will be with you a long time.

High quality
The rosewood handle is not only beautiful but also super comfortable to grip, even after extended use. It makes cooking prep so much quicker and enjoyable. I've used many knives over the years, but this one feels professional-grade without an overly high price tag.

Don't listen to other reviewers. This is a great knife if taken care of.
This is a fantastic knife! I've been using this knife everyday if not every other day since I purchased it over a month ago. It's retained it sharpness very well. I purchased a whetstone and give it a few passes every 5th or 6th time I use it and it's still razor sharp. I've seen other reviews with people complaing about rust and the handle breaking. These people are not taking care or the knife. Evrytime you wash the knife make sure you dry it completely and you won't have any rudely at all. Do not leave in the sink over night or anything like that. If you cut things with the smallest amount of finese the tang will not break. I've cut very large and dense sweet potatoes with this knife with no problem whatsoever. Is it a real japanese crafted knife? No. Is it more than sufficient for people cooking at home frequently? Absolutely.Tl;DR- this is a great knife if taken care of. Make sure you dry is completely after washing and take a bit of care while cutting. Don't just hack away at stuff. Get a whetstone and give it a fee passes every so often.

Chopping is now so easy
For the price, I really like this knife. I had carpal tunnel surgery, so one of my hands is still weak as I go through rehab. This knife made it so easy to cut through things like apples, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. that I didn't really need much strength to do it. The only thing I didn't like is that the handle could have been like 1-1.5 inches shorter to make the knife slightly smaller in total length to store more easily into my drawer when not in use as the handle is longer than all my other knives with the same blade size. I also hold the knife at about where the blade starts and handle ends for more control, so I don't like all that extra handle length.
