From his three hairs, drawn generous and loose, all the way down to the shoes, which are too long for his feet, in walks a classic. Like most animators, Walt Disney knew the importance of consistency; for this reason, a series of drawings were created for each character and for each movie, which would help the animator consistently maintain the integrity of each and every character. Known as Model Sheets in the business, the studio would print a very limited number of them for only the artists working on that film. These drawings allow us to see just how the animators brought life to our most beloved characters.
