Used and dirty product!!!
Total disappointment! The packaging was damaged and did not match the description by the way, the product itself was 100% used, it was all in the ground and very dirty.

These are such a finely crafted and practical pair of secateurs. Arrived in a lovely box in perfect condition. Quick shipping to the US, too.

Was sent a used item, made in China
The product may be good, I will never know, but I was sent a used pair. It killed my enthusiasm. In the first picture notice that the box is ripped. I did not do that. In the second picture there is no tag that is to accompany the pruners. The third picture shows the poor quality. For $50 pruners they should not have any metal oozing out of place. My biggest grip was that they feel gritty like they got dirty , wiped clean, and dirt was still on the blades and the mechanism. Fourth they were made in China. I have many things from China so nothing against their manufacturning. But $50 is way much for these.

Best ever!
I love these secateurs so much. I have had a pair for 2 years and they are still wonderful- except that I broke the closing clasp.They have cut through stems which should be too big for them ....they are still really sharp.So easy to use and strong. Couldn't do without them.Suggested that really for the female hand but male hand likes them too.Do not buy anything else.I would have gotten through at least 10 pairs of cheaper ones in the 2 years.New ones now because so often the two of us needing the pair at the same time.Lovely box to keep them in and this reminds me not to leave them outside!Have other Sophie Conran stuff and it is so well made.

Good value, not in league of felco
Bought to replace a felco whilst away for a refurb. Blade finish not very smooth, and gets gummed up with sap, so needs regular cleaning to maintain performance. Blade lock difficult to operate accidentally, unlike Felco. Good value but not in the league of the felco.July 2021 - update. Handles are a bit slippery, and catch has broken off having caught on something in use. Still sharp and effective, but they have shortcomings.Update : remain easy to use and effective. Need regular blade tightening and catch has broken - disappeared whilst pruning enormous shrub. Definitely nowhete need a felco.
