Hard Wax Kit: Wax Kit for Coarse Hair - At Home Waxing Kit With Hard Wax for Face, Underarms, Bikini - Microwavable, Stripless, All Natural, Plant-based Chlorophyll

This is my first time waxing at home and this is the first wax I've tried. I knew going in that this would be a challenge for me in some spots because of my low pain tolerance. I bought this for the bikini area (no intention on using it for underarms). The amount of wax would have covered a Brazilian, if that helps judge what you need. For underarms, I imagine you could use it at least 2-3 times on each arm if not more (just remember it comes with one flat wooden spatula and one small popsicle stick so you may need to purchase some extras).Some tips:* Read the directions carefully beforehand; read them twice if you need to because once the wax is perfectly melted you're not going to want to waste time and have to reheat it over and over again because you were stopping to read* Definitely pull the skin tight and definitely rip in the opposite direction; this saved me a lot of pain in some areas (I experienced an unusual amount of pain pulling at one part and then remembered the hairs changed direction there - as soon as I switched the direction I was pulling, the pain immediately subsided)* Twirl the spatula both when you dip for the wax and after you apply it to the skin - I did this and had no issues with mess whatsoever* If you work fast enough, you can actually lay down two strips and almost by the time you lay the second, the first will be ready to rip* For me, the three minutes in the microwave was not nearly enough to melt the wax the first time. I probably had to do six more 30 second increments while stirring in between each to even out the solid and liquid parts* TRIM! If your hair is 1/2" long or longer, trim it (directions say the hair needs to be at least 1/4" long so use your best judgement). Otherwise, the wax will get stuck on surrounding hairs that you didn't really intend to pull out on that strip and wow does that hurt!* Don't wait too long to pull - I did this a few times and the wax became brittle so some pieces would snap off of the rest of the strip as I pulledPros:* Much cheaper than a professional wax* I did not have any bad reactions to the wax* You can control the size of the area you want to work on* The cleansing wipes (comes with two) are very nice not just to clean up but to soothe the skin* Not messy or difficult if you follow the directionsCons:* For those of us not used to doing it ourselves and are more sensitive down there, it can be a real challenge (worth trying, though!)* I had to stop and reheat about three times (common I know but just something to consider)* I wished it came with a special cleansing towel to use before waxing (directions say you're not supposed to shower right before)Overall, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The only reason I will ever go back to a professional is if the pain is still too much by the third or forth wax (I may just be a bit more sensitive - my friend says waxing doesn't bother her that much while I, on the other hand, kneed my poor girl in the stomach during my first waxing experience). I bought a different wax kit too but I think I may want to stick with this one unless the other is somehow phenomenal (it's wax - not a lot to it).

Honestly great! It takes all the hair out, it doesn't get too hot to burn you and easy to peel. It also lasts a long time

UPDATE - FORMULA CHANGED - BUYER BEWAREI've been using this wax kit for about 2 years and loved the wax. I just ordered a new kit and the formula has completely changed, the wax is NOT the same as in the picture. The wax tub looks totally different - see picture. The wax is horrible now - it does not get hard, it's a huge mess. You have to leave it for a really long time to even start getting hard, and then it hardens unevenly so you may be able to get half of the strip off before it cracks and the rest is still sticky. Thank god I tested it first on my armpits and not my bikini line...I am trying to get my money back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!Old review:Great hard wax for at-homing waxing. I like hard wax after going to European Wax Center for a few years. I have used this wax for the upper lip and bikini area. Upper lip it is not the best as it does not pick up the small hairs very well. I do not recommend this wax for short, light hair (like the upper lip). However bikini area it works really well, and I am sure for any other body hair it would work great as well. You need to microwave the wax for three minutes, then 2-3 more minutes in one-minute increments. It only comes with one spatula and one stirrer so I do suggest buying a bag of spatulas as you may need more than one. I have re-heated left over wax and it works just as well as it did the first time, so if you don't use the whole container, just let it cool and harden and put it back in the box to use later. If you are waxing a large area, you will need to reheat the wax as it will start to cool down and the wax hardens. It comes with two cleansing towelettes which I love! If you run out of the cleansing towelette, just use coconut oil (it works just as well in removing wax bits). I am taking off one star because the kit only comes with one applicator spatula. Otherwise, all around great waxing kit and I've been very satisfied. I do recommend this product if you want to wax body hair at home.

This is the first review I've ever written as I really felt it deserved one. A few weeks ago I decided that I would purchase some wax to start using at home, to save a bit of money for myself every month.I came across this product and was instantly drawn to it because of its all 'natural' ingredients and the price tag :)I read some reviews and they were all amazing, barring the odd couple of negative ones which after using myself now, feel its the people that wrote them that have the issue and not the product.My first attempt of upper lip, eyebrow and underarm was a HUGE success! The wax took around 4 minutes to melt in my mircrowave, but you can see as soon as its ready! So no problems there with melting it. I couldn't believe how long the wax stayed hot and runny for, must have been almost 30 minutes, so I was massively impressed that I didn't have to keep re-heating it up in-between uses. For my first attempt at home waxing on myself, I was pretty impressed. This product is not only natural, its easy to use and the results are salon quality! Every single hair was pulled out from the root... AMAZING! And to top it all off, there is still so much more to use, so I will definitely get another 6-8 uses from it... all for £12! BARGAIN! Very happy customer! :-)

Ich habe das Wachs zwei mal angewandt und bin sehr zufrieden. Ich habe eine sehr sehr empfindliche Haut und kriege normalerweise einen extremen Ausschlag im Gesicht und am Hals. Bei diesem Produkt hatte ich lediglich eine leichte Rötung, was bei einer Wachsanwendung völlig normal ist. Am nächsten Tag war die Rötung weg. Deshalb würde ich das Wachs immer wieder kaufen. Aber das muss jeder selber herausfinden.Anwendung: Am Anfang hatte ich etwas Schwierigkeiten beim auftragen und wann ich am besten das Wachs abziehe. Mein Tipp, nicht zu lange das Wachs auf der Haut trocknen lassen. Ich habe jeweils bis 10 runtergezählt und abgezogen. Somit war es leichter abzuziehen. Und am besten nicht große Flächen bestreichen, da es schwieriger ist zum abziehen.
