Amazing Little Drone For Big and Small!
Easily the best deal for a great starter drone. I own a lot of them from nanos to a DJI Spark. I ordered one of these to try and immediately ordered 3 more. This is my choice for indoor flying during the winter.The flight time is excellent per battery. The batteries are easy to charge for younger pilots since they’re modular and the charging dock (which reminds me of a mini version of a Spark charger) is a safe feature that helped sell me on this little guy.It handles well in all 3 rates and can even fight a breeze (in high rate). 2 batteries with excellent flight time per battery, 8 spare propellers, easy micro usb charging dock, the drone flies like a dream, uncluttered and labeled controller that beeps when the drone battery is low. The batteries have a fairly short recharge time compared to most others this size. You really can’t ask for more at this price. This is now my recommended starter drone instead of the Syma series. It’s a complete “Fly More” package. Even as an advanced pilot, I can’t get enough of buzzing this drone around the house. It’s also a great night flyer and well lit for easy orientation.This would make a perfect Christmas present for younger pilots and could help steer the youngsters away from video games. The same hand/eye is required and the controller is similar to a game pad. I know my grandkids are going to love them and I’ll be flying mine right along with them!I hope these stay in stock for a long time. These little drones deserve a spot along with Syma, Hubsan, and Holy Stone. I’m sure I’ll buy more of these drones so get one now before I buy them all!👍

Flies very well, easy to control
This was a gift for my seven year old son. He has flown many drones and he said he really likes this one. His words:“Like:It is quiet to fly. It flies well and is easy to control. Well padded on the bottom feet which is good for landing. It is really, really good.Dislike:You need to set it first, you need to adjust it first with the trim buttons. It starts off pulling to the side but once adjusted it goes straight as it should.I am a beginner drone flier and I think it flys very well. I have good control of its movements. I love that it has a landing button so if I feel like I am making it go out of control or too close to going over a neighbor’s fence I can just press a button and it lands itself. My husband is an experienced drone flier and he said this one is really good.

Had to end a family vacation to see if the drone was delivered! It was played with all night.
My 8 year old son saved up his money and when he had a good amount he looked through the options of drones that were available and this was the one he chose to purchase. It's looks were appealing to him. He chose it mainly for the size and fold up option, which are exactly how he expected them to be. This drone has been very easy to use and navigate for him. The only reason we gave it a four star is because the black frame around the drone snapped and broke after a hit on the floor and the blades hit the side wall of the frame whenever it bumps into something. I would expect it being a little more sturdy being a beginner drone, knowing that it will take a few falls and bumps before the learning curve happens where it isn't bumped as often. Probably something we can fix with a little glue, as long as it doesn't throw off the weight. He also really likes the lights on it and thinks it is super cool how it can do flips! Comes with a two sets of blade replacements too! Overall we would buy it again.

Great customer service
Original review below: Apparently snaptain makes v i k. They did contact me after the Chinese holiday was over. I had already returned the quadcopter. V i k representative Rita was ready to help in any way possible. In the end she sent me a new product I am now waiting for its arrival. Rita has excellent English skills and with customer service like this I would not be worried about trying more of their products. Thank you RitaThis looked like fun and flew about six batteries worth. The next day it would not connect to controller.Emailed manufacturer got no response.I realize some defects are normal but other reviewers are correct these malfunctions are far to common.

Form a cynic to a true believer!
I have to admit, I was dubious about this drone from all the five star reviews, but after my two kids' (and my own) play with it for two days, I am a convert! This drone is surprisingly full featured, and the extra battery is a huge plus. My advice is to start up with it out of doors with lots of space, and then graduate to indoors.The one drawback to the design is the slip on bumpers. They are very flimsy, and any bump pushes them into the spinning blades. Wider, more rigid bumpers would be a huge improvement.Otherwise, no doubt, five stars!

Not for kids or beginners, but great customer service
Very hard to use, extremely fast for beginners. My 8 yr old nephew kept crashing it into the TV, so we took it outside, on an extremely still day. Last I saw of it was when it fell from the sky, as I e-stopped it because he flew it so far away. The drone is supposed to hover at neutral throttle. My nephew didn't understand that, he held down the throttle, and it flew higher and higher until he panicked and called me to help. I could barely see the tiny thing by the time he alerted me. A chirp from the drone on command from the remote would be a great added feature, making finding it easier.Hancy in customer service was a big help. He replaced the lost unit and gave me a free one, that is smaller and easier to control.
