VIEW Swimming Gear Optical Swim Goggles

These are THE GOGGLES for presbyopic aging (or just plain far sighted) swimmers. Hard to find goggles in + diopters - I have looked at length... Since I got my pair in +3.00 (both sides) in January 2016, I haven't used any other goggles. I'll be ordering a second pair soon as a backup - goggles don't last forever when you use them most days of the week...UPDATE (8/28/2017): Lately I have been swimming an average of about a mile per day and I swim almost every day. These goggles have been with me every meter of the way. They have performed flawlessly the entire time although lately they have been leaking a little. A close look at the skirts shows that they are showing their age and have started cracking (20 months is actually more than I expected for goggles that see a pool every day). I have pulled out my back up pair (that I got in my Christmas stocking last year!) and am looking to see if I can get replacement lenses separately as every other part of the goggle has held up beautifully.UPDATE (9/5/2017): YES you can get replacement lenses. You can get them from the seller of these goggles or you can also find them from other sellers on Amazon (but at a higher price). I'm sure you can also get them from other vendors if you know what to ask for... GREAT GOGGLES - Buy with confidence! ;-)

I ordered these for a trip to the Atlantic Ocean. They fit PERFECTLY and the vision was flawless. I dived into the water and it was if I had my glasses on. No leakage at all and comfortable. Through waves and getting tumbled when I wasn't prepared for a wave, these stayed out and never leaked. These are engineered to do exactly as they are advertised. You can't go wrong with anything made in Japan. I was thinking about getting a mask that would allow me to wear my glasses but saw these for sell on Amazon. Glad I saw them!

These goggles are fantastic! The anti-fog coating works really well, and (more importantly) I can see!! I have terrible vision (one eye is -9.5, the other is -9.75) so I got the mixed lens with -9 in one eye and -10 in the other, and they work perfectly. They come with 3 different nose piece sizes, with the medium size preinstalled. They do leak ever so slightly for me that I believe is because I have such a small face (I’m very petite, and I did switch to the smallest nose piece), but the leaking isn’t so bad that it inhibits my swimming. I just drain the tiny bit of water out when I come up for air. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, especially people with extremely strong prescriptions.

UPDATED:The processing and shipping was fast, the glass is clear and prescription is correct. I love being able to see and that I can have different prescriptions in each eye. Like all goggles they do fog up reducing a bit of the benefit of prescription however, I completely recommend prescription goggles, these have changed my swimming experience--it's SO NICE being able to see and frankly it's pretty inexpensive.Two problems:There are multiple sizes of nose fittings. This is good because with the wrong size the goggles will not seal and leak water. With the right size they work fine. The problem is the nose piece falls out. As in every time I pull them out of my bag they are disassembled. Fortunately I've found the nose bridge every time and when they are strapped on my head they hold well so it hasn't been a deal breaker.The second problem is why I'm shopping for new goggles and I haven't decided if I'll buy these again. The band is tearing--see photo. It's only on one side but its all along that side and it's going to break through any day now. 1.5 years just seems too short of life.

If I could give you 10 stars, I would!!! My teenage son has needed RX Swim Googles his whole life. We always spend about $200 every time we buy a pair. I'm a little reluctant to buy things online, but for only $30, I figured I wasn't losing much if they didn't work out right. OMG! I'm overly, overly impressed! My son is also special needs and is really picky about things. He is so super excited about these goggles. They fit perfectly. He's over the moon about the Anti-Fog feature. And, the prescription is right on. And I'm ecstatic about the price!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a great buying experience!

Probably the best set of goggles I've ever had--worth the price easily, plus I can actually SEE with them on. I'm astigmatic and these only compensate for myopia, but I can still easily see, even if I wouldn't want to read with these. I've got a really big head, and these have just enough give in the strap to size them comfortably, and even loosened quite a bit, they haven't leaked at all.

I am quite nearsighted, and have a fair amount of astigmatism as well (-5 spherical, -2.5 cylinder). The "spherical + half of cylinder" formula worked well though, and my vision is corrected well enough that I can see pretty well at a distance. These goggles made it much easier to see what was happening while lifeguarding, instructing swimmers, or looking at things underwater. After a summer of near daily pool use the eye cups and straps are holding up great, though I was always careful to rinse the chlorine off well after every swim.My only complaint is that they can get a bit uncomfortable on the nose after being worn for a while. There is no top or bottom to the goggles, so they don't fit quite as nicely as a pair made with definite left/right/top/bottom shapes.

My eyesight is pretty bad without glasses. To the point that I find it difficult to function without them because I am so nearsighted. Unfortunately, this has taken a lot of the fun out of swimming for me because everything turns into a blurry mess. I didn't even realize that you could get prescription goggles; but as soon as I found out, I was searching for a pair. These worked perfectly and I was even able to get them with two different strength lenses. They made my vacation even better. They were well made, and very comfortable.
