I needed a switch that would let me disconnect the solar from feeding the subpanel in my shop and give me the option of connecting the shop sub panel to my generator, which is portable. Because of the way safety is maintained by complying with code, regarding ground neutral bonding, I wanted to switch that would disconnect not just the hots, but also the neutral in the ground so I could maintain my solar inverter system as the source of ground because it is the source of power and still leave my portable generator bonded without creating two neutral ground bonds in one system . This switch allowed me to do that for my 3000W system with a positive disconnect of the neutral and ground.

Good switch in an RV, BUT the screw mounts on the back of the plate are a bit flimsy...best to use nuts if you can find them.

Super happy with how this turned out. I installed in my RV so that I could switch between shore power and my solar generator. My RV has a 30A system so the 32A rating is perfect. I will say that a small part of the blue plastic was broken when it arrived, didn’t affect the utility or appearance of the product.

New Norcold refrigerator only supports 12 v. This switch allowed me to add a 110V power supply and switch back and forth from shore power to battery power.

I did not receive the needed screw to mount my switch. The instructions were not included, while the ones online were not clear or concise. This vendor needs to be reminded that NOVICES purchase most of their product from Amazon, so they should include instructions for NOVICES that remove all ambiguity and confusion.
