Cinch Connectors S-306H-CCT Connector, Jones Socket, S-306H-Cct, 6 Contacts, with Hood and Clamp

These are made entirely of plastic nowadays. The connector I received had a problem as soon as I tried using it because either soldering a lug made the housing weak or perhaps it was weak when it was made. Bought this to replace a power connector to an old school Linear automotive power amplifier yet it gave me nothing but trouble from the get go. Blamed the amp because of its age, later found the connector had a problem. Chased rabbits upside down and sideways and eventually bought a new amp because it was tough to admit the new part, a simple part, was the problem. Just be very careful and I'm sure you'll be okay if you absolutely need this. Will be changing out the power connector on my Linear to something modern to solve mt issue.
