GOOQ Soft Silicone Earplugs, Waterproof Swimming Ear Plugs for Surfer, Swimmer and Other Water Sports

I've tried several brands of ear plugs and these are great. They stay in my ears while surfing and wiping out. I can also have conversations in the line up without taking them out. Great product.

I have had the surfers ear surgery on both ears, so I had to wear ear plugs for the first few months after recovering from surgery. I tries out a few different kinds like docs and hydroseal, but these are by far the best I've ever used! The others fell out all the time or I would lose them, never had a problem with these gooq earplugs ever. Also come with a few sizes for different ear canals. Highly recommend font get anything else

They came with a pretty nice case with a carabiner clip. Also with parts for different ear sizes, the part that goes into the ear canal and the part that helps prevents it from falling.They certainly do the job of keeping the water out. I use them for surfing. We have had pretty rough conditions and I am prone to wipe-outs, hehe. They stay in place.On the not-so-good side: They are designed not to isolate the ear completely. There is a membrane to allow air/sound to pass through, but not water. Water does not get in, but sound... does not either when wet. I don't have a different type of plugs to compare in this matter. Not sure if all behave similarly or others have better sound-allowing abilities.Still a good buy.

I bought 5 other pairs of ear plugs to prevent water from getting into my ears before this. All let water through so none of them do the job. I didn't have much hope with these but thought I'll at least try. Good thing these came in 3 different sizes where as the others are one size fits all. For these, the smallest size didn't work (one side even fell out in shower) but the mid size did! It's still not 100% water proof but it's not enough to give my ear infections so much!

I bought these earplugs for my trip to Bermuda, I wanted the best quality earplugs so my trip wouldn't be ruined by water in my ears, I planned to go snorkeling. I have a problem with my left ear in particular because I had my eardrum punctured twice years ago and when I get water in that ear it gets trapped in my middle ear and then I get vertigo. I ordered 1 pair but I was surprised to see they actually included 3 extra sizes, all you have to do is try all sizes, just make sure you put the black middle part in the earplugs that fit best. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable they were, I expected to not be able to hear very well ( like my old earplugs) and at first I thought maybe they were too small but i tested them out thinking if I got a little bit of water in my ear it would be ok but they really worked! I could hear really well and they kept the water out! I went snorkeling for the first time wearing these earplugs and i never had to adjust them or feel that they were still in. I could hear people talk and I could talk to them without yelling. That night I didn't have to put alchohol in my ear to make sure no water snuck past the earplug , I used them for 3 days in the water and I'm so happy I purchased them! I read a lot of reviews on different swimming ear plugs, (surfer type) and I know I made the right choice. Whoever had problems with these either used the wrong size or put them in backwards because I don't know how anyone could complain about them. They're specially made so they don't block out sound, so you can hear, and they definitely block the water out, and they're comfortable ( I forgot I had them in) what more could you ask for!?

These are garbage. They are supposed to keep water out but let sound in. They let EVERYTHING in. I have surfer ear and I was hoping these would prevent the cold water from getting into my canals but they dont. They simply do not work at all. Remember the old headphones from back in the day that had that foam on the outside and once they tore the inner plastic and metal would hurt your ears? The foam to keep out water is the same foam from those old cheap headphones.

Used these for surfing after I lost two pairs of Doc's Proplugs. Very happy with these. They come with two sizes of interchangeable earhooks and three sizes of interchangeable plugs, all in a nice carrying case. They feel more secure than Doc's and indeed I have not lost them yet. Yes you can still hear with them in - it basically sounds like nothing is in your ear. These are my new go to plugs for surfing.

Great product and great price! These ear plugs barely reduce hearing while keeping water out of my ears in the surf. Strongly recommended to any surfer. Came with 3 plug sizes and two lock sizes.
