Not bad for the money, a B effort for A money
The idea behind this product is great. Very few people want to drill into their sheetmetal or painted plastic to fit a backup camera. I'm honestly surprised it has taken so long for these "drop-in" cameras to become available. The picture is good, especially for the money. Wish there was a way to disable the parking guide lines, my radio provides them (other cameras have this ability). Also, as others have stated, the light bulb socket needed some trimming to fit properly. On my car, also, I noticed that the license plate lamp housing was a little smaller than the factory piece. As a result, it would fall out initially if the rear door was closed hard. I have more or less solved this by putting a few layers of electrical tape around the tabs on each side, to make the housing bigger in the factory hole. Lost a couple points for the inability to turn off the lines and the poor initial fit. Wife is happy, that's all that matters.

Camera works well... but
I like how the camera is integrated with the license plate light... Camera offers a great picture. I got one of the newer ones without the LED lights and the image is still great at night. Wiring in a 2012 Rav4 was tedious to say the least(which has nothing to do with the camera). I also had to take a box cutter and remove two small tabs in the light bulb housing to get the bulb to fit properly... But my biggest complaint is the placement of the camera it's to the left of the license plate light, which makes the image off center. When backing up I must remember that the right guide line is really the center of the vehicle.
