I would suggest starting from the top and peeling the back off as you smooth it on to the door. I managed ok putting this on solo with very few air pockets/wrinkles. I imagine it would be even easier with two applying it. I struggled a little lining the two up to match since this comes in two long panels but overall I'd say it is worth the effort and has stayed for 2 weeks so far with no sign of peeling up or off.
