The insole was either not secured or was very poorly secured so it kept slipping down and out of place during wear, making the shoe very uncomfortable for my son. So it turns out I had a roll of double sided carpet tape. I decided to try securing the insole with that and it worked great. Now the shoes are comfortable and he likes them. However, I don’t feel I should have had to do any adjustments to make them wearable...so, minus one star.

I got these in size 12 for my 7 year old who is very sensitive to seams, textures, etc. He was very excited to have shoes without even velcro, since his previous shoes kept coming un-stuck. When he first put these ones on, he said they were too tight, and my heart sank. I convinced him to wear them a little more around the house to get his feet used to them, and after not too long, he said they fit just right! He's so happy with them, and says they're the most comfortable shoes he's ever had. Success!

My 10 year old son has to wear an all white sneaker to school to stay in uniform. I sought a bargain to help find a shoe to last for the final 8 days of school. Here is a picture of his shoes after just 1 day's use. I hope they make it through day 2, but looks like I should have just invested a bit more money for a more durable shoe. My son explained that they feel like they're made out of plastic. They are made of a very light foamy material, but if you want a shoe that will last more than 2 days, seek a different shoe and save yourself the disappointment.

The product description is absolutely misleading. These do NOT have a rubber outsole bottom which is grippy and provides traction. It has a perfectly smooth, molded plastic bottom, which makes the shoes very slippery and not good for running. I still kept my pair since my son with autism as extremely picky preferences with shoes that have no straps or laces and easy to slip on and off (as these are), but I wanted a tennis shoe bottom. I have tried a DIY approach and painted the bottoms with some fabric paint, which is supposed to dry tacky and provide a bit more grip. I know there are also tacky sprays out there that you can spray shoes to provide more traction for slippery bottoms. And finally, there's always sandpaper.They say you get what you pay for. But I've found American brands of kid shoes on sale for the same price but with much better materials and quality. But it makes me angry that the Amazon listing says there's a rubber bottom when there's not.

Purchased these shoes for my daughter and she really likes the color of them, unfortunately the shoe came with a tear on the outside and contacting the company didn't result in much hence the low rating. Oh well since there is only about a month left of the school year hopefully they don't fall apart and last the short time left. I purchased them 1 size up from what she needed and they fit perfect so they look to run about 1 US size small.

Every thing about this purchase was great except that the inside padding is not glued to the shoe. It can be a pain if it bunches up. Otherwise, it’s lightweight, comfortable (including through a Disneyland trip), seems durable (3-4 months), looks pretty good, good grip on most surfaces, and the price is fair ($24).

I bought these shoes for my sons soccer shoes. They fit nicely and worked great for soccer. The red color really stood out for soccer all the kids asked where he got them. Thanks amazon!
