Malirona Canvas Weekender Bag Travel Duffel Bag for Weekend Overnight Trip (Plum Flower)

Bag is decent size for a weekend trip. I packed enough clothes for 2 days in New York and one pair of shoes. Travel size toiletries. And the bag broke as soon as I got off the plane! The metal sheared clean so it makes me think there was a crack already there since my bag wasn't too heavy.

I really liked this bag but on the day of my trip, just as we were leaving for airport the brassy part of hook broke. The weight of the bag was less than 7lbs. The overall quality of the entire bag seems great but just wish that the hooks were too.(We were still able to use the bag as a carry on, after we rigged it by metal rings to connect to the strap)

Love this carry-on. It's the perfect size to hold everything you need. I packed for a 4 day trip and had room to spare. Very sturdy and definitely worth the price. If you like it in the photos, I'm certain you'll be pleased with your purchase.

This bag is really pretty in person and is quite large. The downfall is the very first time I used this bag I packed it with 3 outfits, 2 pairs of shoes, my makeup bag and toiletries-which all fit no problem, and carried my new bag to the car. (My destination was 45 minutes away). When I arrived and took the bag out of the trunk I was only able to walk MAYBE 5 steps before the shoulder strap broke. I am really hoping that I will be provided with a replacement, and I will update my review accordingly.

EDIT: I’ve changed my review to 1 star as the strap broke first time using it. Hopefully I can change it back to 5 if someone sends the strap.. Customer service was very nice and advised they would send me a replacement within two weeks. That was in April and it is now September. Would be nice to bring this bag on my next trip but I doubt I’ll have a new strap by then, unfortunately.This bag goes well with my already odd and colorful luggage, so I love the design! Very spacious with sturdy button, handles, and zippers. Feels durable. Great buy! Would definitely buy again.

The main reason I bought this bag is because its thick band easily slides over the luggage upright handle tube and is extremely secure. This bag is large and completely collapsible. I can bring it on the plane as my personal item because it will fit under the seat, though I cannot stuff it if I want to put it under the seat. I can also stuff it full and it will fit the same amount of clothes as my carry on luggage. If the bag is full, it will need to be stored in the overhead. I can pack the empty bag in my luggage so when I buy stuff on vacation, I can pack all of the stuff I am bringing home in it. I appreciate the large size, collapsibility, and the versatility of the bag.

Had I written a review a few months ago, or at the beginning of the year (when I purchased it), I probably would've given it a 5 star rating, but I after going on a weekend trip this past weekend, the love has faded. This has been my "go to" carry-on bag for all my air trips, and my first grab for quick over-nighters. This past weekend I went on one of my previously mentioned "quick over-nighters" and upon getting in the hotel lobby one of the metal rings on the strap broke. Luckily, my guy was there to carry it up to our room, but I'm quite sure he didn't want to (considering he had his dufflebag and all of my other crap). Yeah...I loved the bag itself, cute, perfect size, and very durable. The rings on the strap need to be re-thought out. After looking at some of the other reviews, I see mine was not unique. This seems to be a common defect w/the straps.

Great canvas bag, fairly large too. Well made. There are 2 side pockets on the outside of the bag, there are no front pockets, just a slide through on each side. The inside has 1 zipper pocket and is well lined. Looks identical to the photo. Very pretty and sturdy.
