Amazed by Grace

I've been listening to this cd over and over again in my car for MONTHS now! I've given them as gifts to several friends (the book to many others). The way Sheri Dew shares her own personal experiences and those of others, plus quotes from Apostles and other General Authorities of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint regarding the principle of Grace, has been pure revelation to me. I've gained a greater understanding and ability to see, feel and know how and when Grace, Christ's divine enabling power, has and is working in my life. Truly, it has been elevatingly, life changing!

Sherry Dew always writes the best books, but I have to saw this one taught me a deep understanding of what the atonement and grace is about. I was surprised and somethings quoted from GA's I had not heard before. This books makes you realize you can do it!! It gives hope, love and inspiration!! You will not regret reading it. It's on my Christmas giving list. Also it is a short book but packs a wallop!

This wonderful book explains "Grace" as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints view it: Not a free pass into heaven, but rather, a divine enabling power that allows us to overcome weaknesses, accomplish things beyond our capacity, and become more Christlike than we ever could with our greatest personal effort. This book is full of warmth and hope, like an afternoon spent visiting with the author. Very readable and understandable, yet profound and thought-provoking. It lingers in the heart long after the last page is read.

I love this book so much I ordered multiple copies to give as gifts. It’s SO GOOD, and opens Grace up to be so understandable!!!

Sheri Dew is a wonderful author and this book is definitely worth reading.

This is an easy read and full of important information. Ms. Dew has given me a perfect way to explain the gift of grace and the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

The tangible connections she draws are both inspiring and actionable. This book definitely has deepened my understanding of God’s power and how to live more fully as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
