Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Recently bought this pressure cooker here on Amazon. It can be used as a regular pot, as well. The menu is pretty much self-explanatory. It comes with a manual and a cook book. Well, I decided to cook my favorite dish - Russian style buckwheat. I sauteed some vegetables (onion, carrot, and bell pepper) with open lid for about 5-6 minutes on olive oil then added the buckwheat and water. Keep in mind, since it is not a regular pot, water does not avaporate and stays in the pot, therefore I used less water than if I cooked on a stove (in my case for 1.5 cup of buckwheat - 2 cups of water). And then chose brown rice option and let it do its business. After 15 minutes my favorite buckwheat was ready. Prior to opening the lid, there's a red button to release the pressure (don't hover your face over it, but cover with a paper towel or a towel, so the steam can be controlled. My wife and I are vegetarian, so we didn't cook any meat on it, but apparently there are different options for meat cooking, as well. It has a feature to delay start, which allows you to put inside all ingredients and let it start at the certain time. My wife uses that option quite often, before we go to the church, she puts everything in, and after we come back home - our meal is ready! It comes with some extra stuff, such as a spoon, measurement cup, a tripod, and a spare silicone gasket for the lid. The inner stainless steel pot can be easily can be removed and washed in the dishwasher or by hand in the sink.

I ordered this pressure cooker with high capacities and am very happy with it. I could have ordered a different color that I like better but this cooker is what I need. I have a big family and I used to have to make soup twice until I bought this one. To cook rice it has a warm function if there is leftovers. This pressure cooker comes with a lot of special gadgets. Which include a scoop, rack, and two silicone molds for eggs. I was baffled to read the instructions at see a cake could be made in this cooker. It is clearly a multifunctional pressure cooker with a lot of extras. I highly recommend this cooker, it is a great value for its price! Very well made!

After using this with a few recipes - I wished I would have bought an Instant Pot. It is not DeenKee's fault that no one has written recipe books for their 'Multi-Cooker', but I found that I had to guess what to do when an Instant Pot Cook Book said to set it to "...select the MANUAL setting and then see the cooking time for 15 minutes at HIGH pressure." The Deenkee does not have a 'MANUAL' setting where you can set the pressure to 'HIGH'; although you can adjust the time within limits depending on the function. It appears that the pressure cannot be adjusted. This would be okay if there were more recipes available. I made a meatloaf that wasn't cooked all the way through - this was a recipe fault for an Instat Pot recipe book that I was trying to use with a different brand (Deenkee) not a fault of Deenkee or their multipot. Unfortunately, when using a pressure cooker you can't check the food easily like you can when cooking something in the oven or on the stove in boiling water. I have decided that I am going to use it primarily for making bone broth. If you are considering purchasing this, I would recommend that you look at the 1 & 2 star reviews.Good Points: The unit looks nice.Works as it is supposed to.Bad Points: No information in the manual on what pressure it cooks at (in PSI or a metric pressure unit).No 'Manual' setting like the Instant Pot has.At least on my unit - the 'Slow Cooker' setting would boil liquids at a 'Rolling Boil', perhaps 'Vigorous Boil' would be more accurate.It has a Yogurt Setting, but not even one Yogurt Recipe in the small recipe booklet that came with it - I don't know if standard yogurt recipes can be used.Very small recipe booklet provided with unit - this would be fine if there were other recipe books available for this 'Multi-Pot' but I could not find any recipe books for this unit besides the small recipe booklet that came with it.The other manual that comes with it(not recipes, but safety and operating instructions) are difficult to follow because of the poor translation into English, but they can generally be understood.

My daughter said wow this is amazing and it shows you how to cook everything. Every protein is listed so they will be able to make every dish.
