Perfect replacement for the original
The replacement was quick and very easy. The old unit had already been removed, but the new one took only 5 minutes to install.

It fits
Ordered the light, it's always a task doing pulling the old part out and replace it. It fit and it works. Line up the new part before pushing it place, it is hard to pull it out without damaging it.

Great product - access from inside hatch
Product arrived on time and fit perfectly. Access from inside hatch, remove the trim covering immediately behind the light, to release old light and clips. New light comes with clips preinstalled (bonus!). Once ready to install light goes in bottom side first fitting behind the window glass to then snap in place with tow hand upward pressure.

Perfect fit for a 2014 Ford Escape SE.
This part fit my 2014 Ford escape SE like a glove. It came with the metal security hooks already installed so there was no need to save or reinstall the old hooks. Secured nicely into the light cavity. The only hiccup was the prongs on the inside of the electrical connection for the light. They are very thin pieces of metal which can easily be bent. And when I plugged the connection together the first time the prongs did not line up correctly causing one of them to bend and not connect inside the female connector piece of the cars wire. I disconnected the wire and reposition the metal prongs. I then slowly installed the connector piece again making sure each prong was side each hole of the female connector piece. It lit right up and was good to go. I needed to replace the light in order to get my inspection sticker and it was a success.

Great value option for 3rd brake light replacement!
UPDATE!!!After a couple months, I have to drop my review down a couple stars. This brake light is still working, however I’ve developed a leak that has left water in my rear cargo liner. After multiple attempts with copious amounts of RTV sealant around the seal and reinstallation, the leak remained.I was able to trace the water and the leak to where the washer fluid nozzle meets the lens. I wound up using more RTV silicone around the washer fluid nozzle and the leak has vanished.I hope this helps anyone experiencing the same issue.Good 3rd brake light replacement option for my 2014 Escape. Mine got busted and Ford gave me a price for the part that was laughable. For a fraction of the price, this light fits great and seems to be equally bright. This took less than 5 minutes to install and that’s only because the two prongs for the electrical connection were both at an identical angle which did not allow my connector to line up perfectly. I gently took a small flathead screwdriver and worked them back to the angle needed. As you know those connectors and pins are fragile so DON’T FORCE IT! Take your time here! While I could have knocked off a star for this, seeing that they should have been completely horizontal, I understand that this is a lower cost part. I believe that for the price, my 15 seconds of extra work and finesse are well worth the cost savings of other higher-priced similar/identical parts. Aside from that, it seems to be of good quality. If you are unsure whether you can do this repair yourself, there are a few YouTube videos that detail it. It’s about as simple as it gets. Good luck! 👍🏼
