I have used Piscifun braid for almost a year now and I only wish I had discovered it sooner. I hesitated to switch from Power Pro as I had used PP for a long time and it was, to me, in a different league. The problem? It's price. This Piscifun braid is not only half the price but In my honest (non paid and non biased) opinion Piscifun is a far superiorbraid then Power Pro. It holds up to almost anything, is just the right slickness and I seen to get WAY less backlashes. Do not hesitate to make the switch. Why on Earth would you pay double for a lesser braid? To pay for a name?

This line is outstanding, it’s has great knot strength, and it is very smooth on casting. I’ve used everything from 15lbs all the way to 65lbs, and they have all met and exceeded my expectations! Using lunker braid on my spinning reels sometimes I’ve run into issues tying it to a Fluorocarbon leader but with this it was super easy and had great strength, and the Alberto knot passed through the rod guides with ease. My by far favorite part about this line is it holds its color! I usually like bright colors for the reason of being able to see it in all light conditions and the color hasn’t faded nearly as quick as most other braids I’ve used. I’d definitely recommend this line and it will be on all my reels!!

Bought the 8lb and 70 lb test. Very happy with both. I use the 8 lb test on my ultralight rod and fish small streams for trout. Awesome casting distance and strength.I recently used the 8lb test in FL and caught several permit and pompano in the surf with my ultralight. Stood up to the test. No complaints with the 70 lb test either.

EDIT: Piscifun contacted me quickly based on this review and was willing to make things right. Their customer service is fantastic and I did share with them, that the reel I bought from them was absolutely superb.This line is advertised as thinner than competing line. I believe they make this line thinner, by giving up on strength. I highly doubt this line is 10lbs as advertised. I tend to pull line out when changing lures, by pulling against the drag. I've never had a problem before. This line snapped instantly. I got a knot in the line, I went to pull a loop out of the knot, the line snapped. I've never experienced a braid of such low quality before. I ordered the black line, the dye gets all over everything. If you touch the line, you're going to have black dye all over you. I love Piscifun's reels, but this line is pure garbage.

Ok so first impressions is very nice line (547 yrds of 40lb black braid )thickness .30mm is right on the money spooled flawlessly smoothness of line is good its on my penn 8500 spinfisher which holds 650 yrds of 40lb braid i first spooled with 110yrds of Berkley 10lb test because its the same .30 as this braid so i wouldn't mess with proper yardage then i did uni to uni knot and spooled the braid and it came out perfect see pic. As a side note i see people complaining about color coming off on hands when spooling line this is normal all braided line does this yes even power pro. And rember you need to tie a uni knot with braid because its slick this will avoid losing rigs and fish. I will update in a month when i hit the beach thanksJaymes

First off, you get a LOT of line for the price compared to other brands out there! Many sizes and colors to choose from. It ties strong knots and is very durable. I usually go with a suffix braid brand but this is a game changer! The strands are made of high quality fibers. ZERO stretch! Low memory line for smooth and easy casting! The sensitivity is amazing! I can feel the rocky bottoms when i’m fishing deep! It’s now going to go on all my spinning reels and baitcasters!

I purchased this line to put on my (2) dual-purpose rods I use trolling for lake trout/rainbows as well as hitting salmon in late fall in the rivers. Based on my experience using it on my striped bass rods (where it works phenomenally for me). The good - the line is clean, smooth and easy to tie. Certainly isn't going to fray or break. The bad (which is my fault, failed to consider) - there is NO give to this line at all. Which makes it tough to fight fish with a soft mouth. I'll keep it on my rods because otherwise I am happy with it, but I'll be putting a much longer piece of leader materiel on the lines to compensate.All in all though, Piscifun is one of the best braids I've used.

Piscifun Lunker Braid review:Price: 500+yds for $28 is a great price! When you compare it to other brands where you get 150 yds for 15 to 18 dollars its astounding! Shipping: its quick! Ordered it on a Tuesday and had it on Saturday just in time to go fishing. SWEET!Impression after fishing with it: I don’t need any other braided line! Period! I spooled up my reel and went to Guntersville to frog on the mats and have some fun. It casts great, getting good long casts with it. In fact, the gentleman that with me commented a couple of times about how far I was throwing my frog out onto the mats. As with most braided lines there is little to no stretch which is essential for frog fishing. Its strong, in fact stronger than the composite frame of the first reel I put it on . The reel frame broke in 2 places and came flying off the reel on the second fish I set the hook on, unfortunately I lost the fish. I spooled up another reel(with a metal frame) and went back to work. Caught several more fish and one of the nice things I noticed it that the line didn’t dig into itself as much as other braids ive used on the hookset.Overall: Great line at a great price! WINNER!!!

I upgraded to the 15lb version as the 10lb was just to thin and i couldnt tie knots properly. Whilst this is a little thicker, there is no loss of distance or smoothness. Only been on my reel 3-4 weeks, mostly used for Trout fishing, the extra strength gets me out of more bushes, rather than losing a spinner. Will buy more for other reels. Good stuff

I wanted a braid that would be ideal for lure fishing that could handle the occasional snag and admittantly the braid is strong i have bent hooks out with this. The downfall is how quickly it bleachs its colour. After 2 sessions fishing my line is now white and is clearly visible. I went for green for stealth but its all bleached out. The line at the bottom in the picture is new the line at the top is after fishing twice...

Nice colour braid, supple and does knot easily.

Well pleased with this braid got into a couple of stocks river fishing and the lines very strong, easy to tie knots and isn't fraying. So far so good
